You know, the Multiverse Gotham by Gaslight Batman figure had a decent execution of soft goods, mostly by using a more heavyweight material (that was meant to simulate the leather of his cloak, I assume). I wouldn't mind if Hasbro went that route for new soft-goods items.

I mean, retail releases have been buggered ever since... whenever the world fell into darkness. So it's not surprising. But the online stuff, I mean, come on. This, the Rogue/Pyro pack... it's a bit nuts that we're getting stuff slated for the last two months of the year at the end of August, you know?

At this rate maybe we WILL get a second AoA wave this year. :D

1) Character in Toy Biz 6 inch Legends line, but never in Hasbro 6 inch line

2) Character in Hasbro 6 inch Legends line (pre-2014)

3) Character in Hasbro 3.75 inch line, but not in Hasbro 6 inch Legends

4) Character that has never had an action figure

5) Figure with soft goods (Not Storm, Banshee, or Siryn)

^ Would kinda suck if all of them are from the Gamerverse wave though. I have yet to even buy a Gamerverse Legends fig I think.

Amazon just updated my order for the Nimrod/Psylocke/Fantomex 3 pack from November to being released today!

Amen to that. Hopefully the Earthrise Coneheads weren't on your shopping list. My Dirge/Ramjet two pack arrived yesterday much to my delight, only to disappoint me moments later when I realized that a pin had been misfired into Dirge's arm, making his transformation impossible. User reviews and message boards are torching them as well, with many folks having similar issues or worse.

Of course, they are also sold out on Amazon (unless you are willing to pay scalpee prices,) and since they are an exclusive...there is no telling if I'm gonna be able to get a replacement before my return window runs out. I might have to dremel the hell out of this thing to fix it. Either that, or find a fodder Earthrise seeker arm, repaint it, and pretend that I don't know the difference.

I firmly believe that the increase in QC issues we're seeing in all of Hasbro's lines are due to this hyper release schedule they're under. I've been buying Transformers for years and have never had a QC issue that actually kept me from transforming the figure properly until now (and of course...it had to be an exclusive...) Not to mention all the mishaps, distribution and QC issues we're seeing in everything from Lightning Collection to Classified.

TL/DR...Hasbro...take a deep breath and allow these toys to marinate to perfection a bit so we can actually savor the flavor when they come out. I'd much rather wait a little bit longer for a perfectly grilled steak than to get a flavorless, seared brick that arrived 5 minutes sooner that I can't send back to the kitchen....

I had that and wave 2 of the Classified series that I had to cancel because not expecting them til November I don't have the funds ready for $160+

@Triv, I had the Coneheads preordered the moment they went up, and thankfully, my set arrived without any hitches.

Now if only I could find another Target Seeker pack, since the one I did buy ended up having a missing tailfin on Thundercracker...

I guess I can understand where they're coming from but it's why I put all preorders on a credit card. It ships when it ships. As long as I have a job, I can pay it off. It does help I only collect Legends and the occasional Star Wars 3.75 figure.
