Agreed on both counts. Always great to see newer figures thrown in that we've been clamoring for. That entire translucent Sue would be awesome. I'd be happy with some portion (more than just 1 arm) of Sue transparent and Johnny in flames.

The only way I could see myself rebuying the Fantastic Four again without a BAF piece is if they did Jack Kirby styled figures. The current Walgreens ones are classic enough for me unless they did that.

I mean, I honestly cannot think of anything else that would fit all those requirements AND be in the same wave together. Don't get me wrong, I'm not just posting this because I want it to happen, I'm open to other suggestions but I literally cannot think of anything else.

It could be an Avengers wave, those are pretty much catchall Marvel waves at this point

Tigra and Falcon also really good suggestions. Duh how did I miss Falcon especially. I guess Quasar or Starfox might be the only viable suggestions from the previously a 3.75 offering.

Okay that's two wave possibilities. Nothing else is coming to mind. I had thought maybe the Mystique/Blob/Destiny/Avalanche boxset and then Firestar but if it's all in one wave that knocks that off the table.

It could also be classic Miss Marvel from the seventies, but they’ll probably save her for when her movie sequel comes out. Same logic is why I don’t think it’s Thunderstrike, even though the tooling is there.

... so yeah, guess Quasar and Starfox do make the most sense. Unless it’s comics A-Bomb as a BAF.

I don't know about ya'll but I kind of like playing this kind of guessing game. Not as much as the reveals or getting the figures but it's fun in its own way.

The Avengers have characters who fit all four categories.

Redone ToyBiz character: Falcon, M.O.D.O.K. or any of the four original Young Avengers.

Redone early Hasbro figure: U.S. Agent, Tigra or Kang.

Redone 3.75 character: The Mandarin, Golden Age Human Torch, Starfox, Eric Masterson Thor (on the 80th anniversary Thor body), Clone Thor (ditto), classic Ultron, A-Bomb or teen Vision.

New character: Could be literally anyone, but could be someone like another New Warrior (Justice, Speedball, Namorita or Silhouette), another classic Thunderbolt (Techno, Jolt) or any of the dozens of Avengers who have yet to be made (Quasar, Ghost Rider, Miss America Chavez, Amadeus Cho, Crystal, Blue Marvel, Jocasta, Swordsman, Quake, Stingray, Living Lightning, Firebird, Echo, Sersi, Manifold, Toni Ho, Nadia Pym, Pod, Jack of Hearts...the list goes on). Even their villains have a lot of possible entries like the High Evolutionary, Mr. Hyde, Graviton, Immortus, the Hood, Attuma, Count Nefaria and the Super-Adaptoid.

My thoughts so far...

- I'm betting Iron Man's retro wave is next, since we had the "more Iron Man" line from a previous interview video. I wonder what Iron Man characters would apply to those hints if they're referring to Iron Man, though.

- That said, we still really, REALLY need a new Hulk wave. Please, Hasbro?

- Retro Dr. Doom is sold out on Hasbro Pulse already. I hope to get it pre-ordered on Amazon if I can find the link to it. Also, does anyone else think the soft goods collar on Doom could be re-used for/possibly hinting at a new classic Toad figure in their next X-Men wave?

- With Doctor Doom revealed, I really, REALLY hope a retro Fantastic Four happens sooner rather than later. I loathe the black-and-blue suits and the only F.F. Walgreens figure I found and bought was Invisible Woman. I would love to see all four F.F. core members in the blue-and-white Negative Zone suits, Mole Man and Wizard. If we get two waves, I'd love to see Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman (fully visible), Johnny Storm, Mole Man, Wizard and F.F. suit She-Hulk in Wave One and Thing, Human Torch, fully-invisible Invisible Woman, Crystal, Trapster and Annihilus in Wave Two. Toss in a Fan Channel Skrull for army building and a Puppet Master and Alicia Masters two-pack and I'd buy them all!

P.S. As a reminder, if anyone voted in the Your Top 10 Spider-Man Wants For 2021 thread on The Fwoosh message boards, if anyone voted for J. Jonah Jameson, Black Cat, Firestar or Frog Man, you'll want to change your votes in your wish-list post since those figures are all rumored to be incoming. I replaced my classic Black Cat and J. Jonah Jameson votes with classic Stunner and Cardiac and changed my vote of Doctor Octopus from his John Romita Sr. green-and-orange suit look (since I was the only one who voted for a Romita Sr. Doc Ock) to his white Armani suit, but kept the bendable wire tentacles request. I hope we get more retro Spider-Man figures in 2021 as well, I can't get over how great this entire wave is!
