Hey, why mold a new accessory when you can reuse one you have three more times? |
And now my AOA Apocalypse just arrived. I guess that means I've got 5-6 figures left that I know of for the year. have preordered Rogue/Pyro and vintage Peter Parker (the half Peter/half spider-man head sold me). but I ordered that one later than most so it'll come when it comes. Then there's the Storm/Thunderbird fiasco and fun to look forward to. Then maybe Firestar if she is coming this year?
That doesn't seem like a lot, but then again so much of what was for Sept-Nov has already arrived. And I'm sure at the end of the month they'll show a bunch more I want but not sure if it will be for this or next year. Looking back right now I've bought 45 figures that are delivered. 6 more and then the Sentinel counts as 3 even if they don't ship til next year is not too bad. I kind of hope they sneak a BOEM II (Mystique version) in some how, or more AOA.....or something something. |

Accessories are cool, but as Boy Blunder et al have mentioned, don’t think this is gonna replace the Super Skrull wave version for me. |

Yeah I bet you go all ultraviolent on a bucket of Popeye’s. People have been known to weep at the sight.

I hope the cloth this new Doctor Doom figure's neck is removable, cause I don't think it's necessary.

Good. I don’t need people at the mall judging me for all the Wolverine corn holders I’ll be purchasing.

Cool. I’ve done the comic version of that setup. Maybe I’ll do a movie version.
My 2 Amazon Hugh Jackman Wolverines that I got for $7.15 are coming in tomorrow. Use a credit card with a good rewards system for everyday purchases. Apply the rewards to toys to get them cheap or free. |

I knew better than to think that people wouldn't exploit Chadwick Boseman's death on the aftermarket. In just a few days both of the M'baku wave Black Panthers have shot over $100. I remember always wanting that Masters of the Universe Standor figure, the Stan Lee tribute character, but he was never too popular so I held off on buying one for the $30 he had been worth at the time. Then the moment Stan Lee passed it suddenly skyrocketed on the aftermarket. I guess the mania has died down and now I can get one for $70 versus the $110+ but still crazy for what was such an underrated figure. I'm glad that by chance I had a M'baku wave Black Panther in my Pile-of-Loot on BigBadToyStore. The $25 I spent sure beats the $150 on eBay and Amazon. I shipped today because now I have anxiety about there suddenly being an "inventory" issue and never getting it. Still worried it might not actually come. I bought it because I had yet to own any movie Black Panther and I felt that one had the best likeness to Chadwick Boseman. That said I never had any intention of completing M'baku so if anyone wants the arm just message me with a decent price. It's still surreal that he's gone.

It’s bizarre how completely arbitrary aftermarket prices for Marvel Legends are. At this point, it’s not even defined by rarity.
