This is a bit off topic but it's still Marvel related. If anyone is interested in Black Panther comics, Comixology has all Black Panther comics available for FREE for today only. This includes appearances in other series as well as spin offs. Collected editions, graphic novels, and bundles however are not included in this deal. For whatever reason, Comixology isn't promoting this deal so you'll have to search for the comics yourself.

As long as it doesn't stretch over multiple pages, I don't mind a little off-topic discussion. Whether or not we like it, it's such an integral part of our lives that it's bound to pop up every now and then, even when talking about small plastic people :D

Understood. Everyone likes to throw everything into one massive thread, it’s going to happen. My only point, create a new thread if you want to talk politics, topic de jour, baking recipes, etc. I hate weeding through posts from 2-3 people having their own conversation (like now) unrelated to the topic at hand. It’s a message board, not a chat room. The ability to create your own thread full of original thoughts, and debate exists.

It’s easy to miss some of the on-topic stuff, like the new Doom, External figs, etc when you’re weeding through this stuff. <end of rant, need more Legends pictures!>

Not to mention wish lists. It's an endless plague here. It's amazing how little we talk about the figures we actually have in hand at the moment, and how much time is spent pining for 4th, 5th, and 8th string characters to fill in the miniscule holes in our collections.

Man... I need like a poor man's MJ. I never kept the TRU MJ 2 pak I bought and I wasn't smart enough to buy Netflix Jessica Jones for later usage. I hope there is another civilian female buck in future retro waves that I can do a MJ headswap with... I love the MJ headsculpt that comes with Gwen.

You can still find Claire (from the Luke Cage two pack) and Elektra for decent prices on the secondary market, though you will definitely need to swap the arms off of Elektra as she has molded glove cuffs and those Popeye forearms.

Kinda amazed how much JJ jumped in price considering how badly she pegwarmed when that wave dropped. The SDCC version is even more ludicrous. I kitbashed mine apart when I first got that set, now I'm kinda wishing I hadn't.

New Rektangular video talking (mostly) about the Eternals figures. He mentions those other leaked UPCs, but no word as to breakdowns on those waves. I must say, I’m really curious to see how the Eternals figures move at retail.

I'll be buying them all, if only to ensure a foothold for the characters (via decent sell-through) with an eye toward comic canon versions (the outcome I truly desire) being created. Not being a big MCU collector, these aren't really high on my priority list, but I can always re-purpose them as generic 'space-folk'.

Beyond Marvel trying to jump-start its movie juggernaut within the current context and climate (lol good luck, Feige), I understand the strategy of tethering Legends marketing to anticipated film ventures. However I think it it might've been better to go the comic route first, then work your way into the movie buzz. But whatever...

The Eternals are quite important to me as a dyed in wool fan of Marvel Cosmic and I'm willing to do my part and buy these even if the effort is largely a perfunctory one.

I agree on all points here. I was hoping we’d at least see a Sersi to go with the 90s Avengers we’ve been getting lately. I’m guessing next year’s SDCC boxset will be comics Eternals. The movie Eternals designs seem kinda uninspired to me, and the seeming lack of a Black Knight figure is baffling to me. Of Selma Hayek, my recent rewatch of “From Dusk ‘Til Dawn” agrees with you.

only thing im remotley intrested in is, the gamerverse figures, not the actual game figures but the 2 or more odd comic figure(s) they might pack in like they did with captain marvel and the leader.
