Certain races have baseline stats that are uniform across the board and exist in even the most mundane and modest of denizens. For instance, the Kree, Shi'ar, and Atlanteans all have superior attributes to humans. Their speed, stamina, strength and fortitude are all heightened to essentially low-level super-being status. The average Kree is generally twice as strong as a human. Most Shi'ar can bench press 1 ton. An Atlantean uber-driver can lift 4 tons. Beyond even those races are the demigods/gods that quite literally live up to their namesake. The Asgardians (Thor/Balder), the Olympians (Herc/Ares), the Eternals (Ikaris/Thena), the Titans (Thanos/Starfox), just to name a few (additionally: the Dark Gods - Perrikus/Adva, other god-races: Egyptian Pantheon - Horus/Seth, Japanese pantheon - Amatsu-Mikaboshi etc), are all incredibly elevated. The average non-warrior in most of these races can press 15 tons in conjunction with a host of other physical attributes that make any member a fairly mighty superhero on Earth. Higher tiered demigods like the Asgardians/Olympians/Eternals/Titans enjoy a significant measure of invulnerability in adition to the other ludicrous powers. You literally can't kill them unless you are a demigod yourself. They must be molecularly disassembled to be conventionally killed, or you must wield sufficient power to utterly destroy them atomically. To give you a better sense of what I'm talking about, all Eternals can fly/move (themselves AND others - telekinesis) by mentally manipulating subatomic particles, change their appearance, employ psionics, bench press 15 tons, and teleport at will (but they don't like to do that last bit very often because it's essentially 'uncomfortable' or some such - lol go figure - what an annoying inconvenience for functional omnipotence). And that's your regular schmoe walking about. The examples I've provided are just the basics for the everyman/woman, with demigod/god-HEROES being standout even among members of their own race. Sersi is a remarkable Eternal; a super-Eternal for lack of a better term. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by hers and Exodus' powers are the same, but let's look at that for a second. There are some similarities, but Sersi has Exodus' powers (many by virtue of birthright), along with invulnerability down to a subatomic level, the ability to manipulate the Power Cosmic, and the ability to transmute matter. If someone can do everything I can do then stacks a number of significant abilities on top of that, then I think I'd have to concede that they may just have an edge on me. But don't take my word for it, I encourage everyone that hasn't read or been exposed to the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition grab the TPBs. The material is dense, but there's truly some fascinating shit in there that many creative talents meticulously thought about and implemented. The work provides both order and scope for the tapestry of the Marvel Universe. Also, I didn't use the term Mary-Sue in reference to Exodus, I just agreed with the general sentiment that he was over powered with no real explanation other than 'me am mutant, me am powah'. I can't really address that and don't know why you'd attribute that to me... **Any further conversation about the Eternals, from me, will be strictly about any figures that come out.** |
Legends helmets of the Celestials can go well along with the upcoming Eternals figures. Maybe experiment with selling both comic + movie versions. See which version sells well. Then do an entire series of such helmets.

I should use something better than the uploader here. Often times, the pictures come out sideways (see above).

Got my Amazon Hugh Jackman Wolverine exclusive. As someone who passed on getting so many Wolverine ML figures I am glad I waited for Hugh. I grew up with Hugh as Wolverine so it was fitting to have him as my first ML Wolverine.

I'm really really excited about that rumored Spiderman wave list containing Frog-Man. Sad as it may be he's always on my top ten lists and it's crazy to think he really might get made.
