so was anyone else astounded at the level of suck this black friday? I mean overall it sucked, and in the Marvel relm not a damn thing! they didn't even freekin restock anything, the last several years rocked with the wlmart multi-packs for the movie lines last year, and the spiderman/ MU gift sets of previous years, the two for ones at TRU, discounts at target, and hell I'd of been happy with at least a damn restock of nything! even Thor movie figs were a no show! all I saw in the Marvel realm at all was those piece of crap 12" molded on cloths, poorly articulated half ass 70's thin box packegedknock off looking turds in our punch bowl, Hasbro listen! you had a great and successful thing with Legends, so you cancled it and started a riot by going 3.75, then when that took off you split your attention between 3.75 and 6" by bringing ML back from the grave therby equaly neglecting two scales of collectors, now you want to go adding a 12" format? why? doing one thing well is better than half-assing a bunch focus your ADD addled brains on one or two things and for christ sake puth them on the shelves! what other product do you have to hunt down and beg people to take your money?!? I mean BLACK FRIDAY! did they forget? they have had a decade to plan! f*****g brain dead! sorry for the rant my shopping bloodlust is still up....

Black Friday is a myth. 95% of the deals can be had weeks later without the lines and the hassle. The big loss leader deals like cheap TVs or laptops are just a scam to ruin people's holiday and get them angry at each other. Then hopefully they go buy a bunch of other junk because they are there already. I wish people would stop showing up for this stuff, especially when stores open on Thanksgiving day. Toys like MU and ML aren't really Black Friday friendly anyway. Too cheap and too little margin. It's always the $50+ toys that parents will buy for their kids that stores push as it will get average adults in the store and they will shop for other things to make it worth their time. That's the key, finding one item that draws in your customer. You throw out 15-20 flashy deals in a variety of categories and that's your best bet to catch the most people. |

There are MUCH better markers than sharpie though if you want true black. Just saying, everyone dismisses ink as a viable alternative. You can even brush India Ink over joints and no rub or sticking. |
the horse looks great though!!!!
has anyone tried a Schleike knights horse? |

has anyone casted the mail in fury's guns?

I stopped by the North Austin TRU this morning. The original Thor movie figures are marked down to $2.98 so if your store still has some and you need to fill in your collection then I would check it out.
