I've had a love affair with words since an early age! I learned many moons ago that the Cuban culture's literacy rate was one of the highest in the world - well into the 90's and has been there for decades. Fluency in the language of your country of origin (even better is adding languages outside of any nationalistic perspective) isn't just important for communication, but also serves as a mighty tool for understanding the environment/world that surrounds. However, less important are the words uttered than is the content and context of what's being said. ;)

Agreed. Even though I have Silk, I welcome this update, but the pot would've been exponentially sweetened had it included Sif and a freshly resurrected Elektra.

That Sif color scheme should have won, in my estimation. But I can't really complain because, while I'm at least vaguely aware of how to be among the 'counted' in these sorts of polls, I really couldn't be bothered to go out of my way to participate.

Hadn't seen, but those look pretty damn good, provided they are on the 1/12 scale. I wasn't aware of anyone having DC's license outside of McFarlane...who's responsible for this wizardry (albeit without readily apparent shin swivels)?

On a Marvel Legends/Amazon-order related update note: My Nimrod pack was finally marked as "shipped" this morning and, 10 minutes later, there's another alert that it's on my doorstep. Of course, in typical anti 'patience as a virtue' fashion, I became jumpy last weekend and ordered the set via a slightly-more-than-retail auction on Ebay, which arrived on on Thursday. I wanted two sets anyway, but had planned to take advantage of Amazon's tendency to reduce the cost of ML box-sets a few months after release...oh, well. I knew better than to do what I did.

For anyone shuffled to the "delayed shipment" list waiting on their Nimrods to be delivered, looks like the pipes are unclogged.

They're unused protos prepped before Mattel shifted Vonner to WWE. They'll never see production.

Word on the street is that Disney frowns upon their toys having guns that are TOO realistic. Hasbro lightly glued the Desert Eagles into the holsters as a work-around, knowing that most people would probably be able to get them out with hot water.

I don't know how much water that theory holds, as plenty of other Legends figures come with realistic guns (but an equal number don't). So I don't know.

Just a couple mods. Gave spymaster the yellow harness from bulbhead....err leader. Put a new head and human hand on winter soldier (so he can actually hold a weapon) to make him a new character......whom I haven’t named yet.
