Kang is an Avengers villain first and foremost, he has interactions with the FF but far and away the bulk of his stories are all in Avengers books. Even his most explored youth/origin as Iron Lad has nothing to do with the FF. His alternate persona (Rama-Tut) was a FF villain but that persona wasn't long-lasting and eventually became another Kang.

Yeah the blue face is a part of his helmet, it's some kind of weird mask that moves with his face kind of like Destro from GI Joe.

Cassie was in the first two Ant-Man movies and then in Endgame, although she wasn't snapped away so she grew up a bit. Therefor she is now more appropriately aged to become Stature if they so choose.

I sure hope that's not the case. I have zero problems with changing the race of characters (for the most part). But Kang should be a major villain. I know Doom will probably be the next "big bad" of the MCU plans but honestly I'd rather it be Kang. Not that the Ant-Man movies are bad, but it feels like a waste of a great character to put him in a relatively smaller movie. Of course they could always tie him in to other movies later, like they did with many other characters.

I doubt Kang's presence in Ant-Man 3 would be as the main villain. It's notable that most MCU characters are quite weaker than their comic counterparts but even then reducing Kang to just be the villain for these two heroes would be a big stretch. I'd hope his role is comparable to Thanos' appearance in the first GotG movie, a looming threat for later.

Yes Kang, like Doom is someone I'd expect to see in multiple movies.

Cassie was the only thing that freaked me out in Endgame. I remember her being this tiny little kid in Antman and then when Scott Lang sees her again in Endgame she's huge... in my brain she is like the only person that visibly aged in the MCU movies.

Seriously? Just let writers, directors, producers make those decisions and go along for the ride. It gets tiring hearing the community bitching about gender/race changing and diversity.

The entire Marvel universe was created by mostly white men in the image of themselves and those in majority power. Black Panther wasn't created until 1966. Falcon not until 1969. Luke Cage not until 1972. Shang Chi, 1973. It took decades for Marvel to create characters that were non-white and somehow important to comic books.

Representation is important hence why characters are shaped the way how they are in films. This is a thread about Marvel Legends and certain people love bringing in their biased views on diversity into every topic/forum thread. I see this type of nonsense in every forum I am in. Leave your ignorance at home.

See to me the race/ gender swapping bothers me for two main reasons.....

1). Is its studios/writers being cheap and lazy. If they TRULY were serious about diversity they wouldn't be ruining pre established characters they would come up with NEW ones to add to roster or bolster formerly d list side characters ( like falcon ) into a mainstream role. This goes for all types ( homosexual, minority etc. ).

2). It shows a true lack of unoriginal thought process by todays “talent.” There is a plethora of under utilized Characters of ALL KINDS out there that could be utilized but they choose to rooster whats already been established to give the illusion of “Yes we care”-ism. Even in comics it happens ( yes i know it has been going on forever and a day ) but its gotten worse in the last 20 years. There seems to be absolutely no real original ideas any more just rehashing and recycling they same tired Plots etc.

Then it translates into toys that stagnate and dont move.

Representation may be important but not at the expense of what is. They need to come up with new characters and new plots. And yes i am serious.....if its okay to change things one way then it also needs to flow the opposite way otherwise it is unfair to both sides.

Saw the Starburst Iron man and.....yeesh. Hasbro needs to stop using that metallicy white plastic for figures. It suffered the same discoloration in package as the deadly origins widow.

Don't assume that "no one agrees with him" cuz I totally do as well. The last time Marvel writers created a great group of diversified, all new, never before done characters w/o having to replace a white character while doing it was in 74' when the All new, all different X-Men were created. We got a Russian, an Irishman, a Japanese, a German, a Canadian an American Indian & last but not least, an African woman. All with brand new powers , origins & costumes. No ripoffs. Nowadays, it seems the writers at Marvel cannot come up with an original minority character w/o him or her just being a rip off or replacement for an already established white character. And if they do make up an original minority character, they tend to either not last long, get killed off or are lame characters.

It has to do with the recent storyline and the... god of symbiotes? I think? It was all pretty damn stupid aside from Saladin Ahmed's work in Miles' book. Just about the only saving grace.
