^ Yup... AoA Apocalypse is awesome. Honestly if the red parts were a darker blue instead I would probably prefer this version over the BAF version full stop.

Anyway, we're all getting way off-topic. I'm not interested in that movie Venom but I am interested to see what comic figures they could maybe use it for. |

Watched a review of the Storm and Thunderbird 2 pack, Storm looks great. The reviewer mentioned that Dwight said if they had to do another Banshee he was leaving the brand, does anyone know how accurate that is?
|
He did say that but I think he was being sarcastic. He was talking about how they're redoing all the old early Hasbro figures and how the wave with Banshee was the first one he ever worked on.

But I'm almost positive Banshee is on a short list for X-Men characters to do next. I'm almost certain we'll see him within the next 2 years since he's the last member of GSXM needed (without factoring in the need for Phoenix and Cyclops re-releases). |
Think it's possible going forward that they'll put an AoA character or two into the standard waves instead of doing a whole second AoA wave?
Also why does Silk need gripping hands? |
I could see it. Rogue and Gambit are really popular wants.

As someone who skipped the AOA stuff, I’d be irritated if it was in a standard wave. I like it being separate, so that I don’t have to buy any of it. What would annoy me more than an AOA BAF in a mixed wave is a non-AOA BAF in a mixed wave, necessitating the purchase of AOA figures for a 616 character.

I didn't bite but I noticed that ebay had a listing yesterday for Storm/Thunderbird in hand, for less than $100. I really considered it. I know it's twice as much as retail but it potentially could be worth saving the trouble to trying track this down. Of course, the set could also show back up on their website 10/4.
|
So I guess my local Target had some leftover stock from the Warlock wave? Because I found Cyclops and Colossus on the pegs today. Very strange considering I remember these two being the hardest figures to find from the wave.
|
Do the discounted retailers i.e. Ross/TJmaxx ever get legend figures? Curious, don't think I've ever seen them.

Short of buying a Mezco OML just for the baby carrying backpack- what's everyone doing with the Hulkling? I used a Mythic Legion belt and some sticky-tac to go with the Baby Bjorn look...
