I just hope we get "movie" (or TV in this case) figures this time, not like the Ant Man wave. I'd love to get a David Tenant as the Purple Man.

Captain Nash 03-27-2015 08:26 AM

Man a Daredevil based wave will be awesome.

BAF: Obviously Kingpin. The Kingpin we got with the Faceoff is okay but I need larger!

Daredevil - standard red
Daredevil - either yellow or Black
Daredevil - Armored
Elektra
Bullseye
Typhoid Mary

If we were to say that a yellow or black DD would be a varient I would say then maybe Foggy Nelson or Jessica Jones

I admit beyond Typhoid Mary, Bullseye and Kingpin I don't know of many DD villains, though, so there's likely more out there that could be used.

That's awesome, if they didn't already send mine out via HTS I would check my TRU, they may be getting it soon too.

No worries, thank you for checking.

Love the new Thanos!

TheBlueMarvel 03-27-2015 10:02 AM

Perfect height and size for Thanos on the 6" scale. The Select version is still the definitive Thanos, but it tracks just a tad too big for Legends. Now, if we could just get a 'Samaritan/Annihilation' version of Thanos on a similar buck...

Zend 03-27-2015 10:20 AM

They'll probably make Kingpin the BAF. Who wants to bet the make a Jigsaw using the Coulson buck?

Phantomcrow 03-27-2015 01:48 PM

THE Daredevil ML BAF would have to be a Kingpin.
Armored DD is the top of my list for a figure, then Typhoid Mary, and I would like to think a Colleen Wing (The white girl in white from Daughters of the Dragon) since they announced a Misty Knight is going to be in the new Spiderman Legends series this fall, it kinda makes sense. Maybe even a Tombstone figure could sneak in there. Maybe even a Shang-Chi : Master of Kung-Fu could sneak in as well.

Maybe even The Owl or Mr Hyde?? Stilt Man or even Madcap??? Paladin or , god forbid, the long demanded Silver Sable?? She would go with the Armored DD very well since they are from the Fall From Grace story.

Here’s what I found from the Thanos series earlier today:

Batroc

http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...psjqkuvzw3.jpg

Iron Man Mark 43

http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7oyvgyzg.jpg

Hulk

http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...psu3c5g8zh.jpg

Captain America

http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...psdk6sqtiv.jpg

Cap and Hulk look like they were re-packaged straight out of the Winter Soldier and Avengers waves with some updated paint apps. I'll probably display Iron Man with the unmasked head sculpt included in the package. Batrock looks ok.

Cap actually has a new torso, although the rest borrows from Stealth Cap. Hulk has a new head sculpt and a new waist and legs. Iron Man is essentially a reverse painted MK42. They all look pretty good though.

I picked up the set from BBTS, and since Spiderwoman and Hellcat come with the same BAF pieces, I'll probably be building the Thanos and dumping off the Hellcat MIP once they come in.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but for those of us that might want to pick these up at retail these posts aren't very helpful. Please everyone (not just the person I'm quoting) say what chain and what state you live in, so the rest of us can figure out if it's worth going out to look.

=)

Thanks!

TheBlueMarvel 03-27-2015 06:31 PM

'Planet earth' is too ambiguous for you? Maybe, North American continent?

...sorry, couldn't resist.

matt3223 03-27-2015 07:46 PM

I believe that the hulk is new head, torso, left hand, new upper thighs..... cap is a new upper torso and shield I believe there may be a few different small details as well ....c iron man is a straight repaint....i like what has bro is doing...not straight re issues of figures...got to remember that these are not new characters they are doing....These have been around now for at least three movies some more so there is only so much new you can do... the figure I'm most exciting about is the new thor becouse it's a completely new figure. Also as far as the daredevil wave....i would love if they got into the television show...tthat could open the door for an agent carter wave with howling commandoes, or an agents of shield wave that has a ton of posabilities. ..would they sell... eh who knows but I collect I would get them haha

I'm betting the set is $69.99 to start, if the TRU and Target sets are "cost per figure minus $10" the Amazon one will likely be the same.

I came across this the other day:

Marvel’s AVENGERS 6” INFINITE LEGENDS 4 Pack (Amazon Exclusive)
(Ages 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $79.99/Available: Spring 2015)
Kids and fans can collect these impressive 6-inch scale MARVEL LEGENDS INFINITE SERIES figures in this Amazon Exclusive. This 4-pack features fan-favorite characters Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Bruce Banner from the highly anticipated movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron! Each figure features extensive articulation and movie-accurate sculpting and deco.

No "discount" for the pack is a let down. Sounds like we should be getting an order/pre-order any day now.

I had hit a bunch of Targets the other day and only found a single set at $25, which is a good enough price for me, so I'm not that put out, but $12.48? Wow.

Purple man would be a good bet

maybe stilt man

If they were smart they'd stick a Purple Man and Jessica Jones figure in the wave, since their netflix show should be out by then

I appreciate the info. I haven't opened them yet so I was just making first impression remarks.

Since you felt the information I posted wasn't very helpful, let me enlighten you:

Planet Earth is the 3rd planet from a sun located in a galaxy named Milky Way. It's part of a chain of 9 planets. It's blue since most of its surface is covered by water. And if you pay attention to news reports, it's in a constant state of upheaval.

You're welcome.

These are out on Earth? Damn. Looks like I'm taking a trip there from Mercury tomorrow.

Does anybody know if any of the online vendors are selling the hobgoblin series characters separately rather then all cased together? im getting to the point of considering ordering a case from BBTS but just really don't want all the others besides SM 2099, SM, Spidergirl, and thats really it. im also scared of getting some with bad paint jobs.

Dorkside Toys is your friend. There are others out there like ToyWiz, but Dorkside has better prices. You could also keep an eye out on Amazon, as they often offer pre-orders at good prices provided you are patient enough to wait for them to arrive. (I believe their Spidey wave doesn't fulfill and ship until late April.)

Zorn88 03-29-2015 12:48 PM

The Hobgoblin Spidey wave has been available on Amazon for almost a week I think. The more popular figures keep going in and out of stock, so just keep checking back. F5 is your friend.

Thanos Wave

Has anyone seen the Thanos wave in the Chicago area yet?

they also don't them single, i just checked.... searching for this wave as well as the walgreens marvel funko pops are getting to the point with me now that i just have no more patience. week after week of searching and never any luck. im just gonna end up probably buying online rather then wasting time and gas from going to store to store.

K Dubious 03-29-2015 01:37 PM

I just ordered the TRU Shield 3 pack online, it is 20% off right now. It may be today only, but just wanted to let anyone else still looking for them know.
