Bp can still be...they just need to find someone who looks reasonably close to boseman and there ya go.

Right? I don't really see Tatiana Maslany as an Allison Brie type

Yeah, they’re very different as actresses. I’ll withhold judgement on account of Marvel’s uniformly on-point casting, but I am disappointed. Especially on account of my rewatching “Community” recently.

I don't hate the casting, but I can think of half a dozen actresses I would have gone with first, at least she TV experience so she's not likely to pull a Ruby Rose

It’s fine casting, but man do I agree there are so many other people I’d have gone with first. Going forward, I’m interested to see what kind of Legends coverage the series get, owing to their closer proximity to the MCU.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I decided to make a Lila Cheney figure and then I ended up making two.

i do need one!!!!

Boogieman4hire 09-18-2020 12:28 AM

I'm not familiar with Tatiana Maslany but I'm excited to see her as She-Hulk. I also was expecting Allison Brie and I even heard something about Aubrey Plaza possibly taking the role so this was a surprise. But I'm just so happy to see one of my all time favorite superheroines be translated into live action. And based on the previous works of the director (comedy stuff) I hope that means something resembling the Sensational She-Hulk comics. I loved those.

Starlord67 09-18-2020 07:11 AM

Who needs Moon Knight? One left!! Cost plus shipping as always.

Pm me!

So it looks like from https://hasbropulse.com/pages/hasbro-pulsecon-2020 the Con will start next Friday at 11 a.m. EST. Whoo, that's early. I have a dentist appointment at 8, I sure hope I'm free by then. Of course that doesn't mean ML will be shown right then, or even on Friday instead of Saturday...but at least we have a general time frame.

You mean, suffer a back injury so severe that she needed emergency surgery, then was expected back to filming within ten days (among other reasons, but still)?

Harbinger 09-18-2020 09:41 AM

Found a silver centurion iron man. They only negative is they used that stupid barbell pegging instead of the traditional head style. Makes having an unhelmeted head Impossible without looking like its floating. Otherwise this is the best legend figure this year, in my opinion.

No I mean decided she doesn't like the rigorous pacing of filming a TV show and drop out after one season. You need watch you cop a 'tude with boyo, as someone with a back injury that may need surgery, I still manage to get to work everyday and do my job

I have no stake in the Batwoman show or Ruby Rose, but if you've injured yourself on a job due to having to perform physically-demanding stuntwork, a back injury that requires emergency surgery, and are expected to jump back into it with just over a week of recovery? I'd say that holds just as much weight, if not more, than not being able to, either physically or mentally, manage the (as you said) rigorous pacing of TV filming. Which, again, is in this case a physically demanding role with stuntwork involved. Hard to compare that to a lot of other jobs, unless they are likewise physically-intensive and rigorously-scheduled.

It's not about copping a 'tude, it's about not being selective when comparing experiences. Even someone who was old-hat at that kind of work, I'd have serious concerns for their physical health if they threw themselves back into that kind of a grind with that little recovery time after back surgery. Hell, I'm sure whatever your job is, I'd feel the same towards your own possible surgery.

Yah....don’t get married then you can put em anywhere ya want. ;)

Ive used plastic bags and everything from boxes to storage totes. I find totes the best to keep em from crushing damage. It really natters where ya put ‘em temperaturewise.

Isn't it just them streaming panels? You can always play catch up later with the panels you miss out on. As long as the figures aren't being sold that day at that time, I don't see an issue.

En Sabah Nerd 09-18-2020 04:54 PM

So it's not technically 6" scale relevant but today DST revealed they're doing a Silver Centurion and not gonna lie, it's got me tempted to not bother looking for the Walgreens figure.

MeLikeJinx 09-18-2020 04:58 PM

^ I wonder how it scales with other IM Legends figs... I keep hoping they make a Marvel Select Blob one day.
