I know he’s been done as a BAF already but Apocalypse makes the most sense. Or -:[A]:- or whatever it is he’s calling himself now. Though Armor has been a regular in New Mutants and she’d be a cool BAF.

Its the armor.....that silver centurion is his best armor. I wish there was an omnibus of iron man that was all his issues in that armor.

Maybe a Blob BAF? They need a new one to make up for the hideous first one.

Man, I’d be pissed if it’s somebody like Blob or Mojo. I don’t have any interest in HOX looks (besides Marvel Girl), since I didn’t like the writing and don’t really collect stuff from the modern comics anyway (me being the crotchety old curmudgeon that I am).

Not sure what a "curmudgeon" is but I'm one too I guess because Modern Marvel writing leaves me cold.

I prefer A classic Blob, in his black and yellow costume like the one Hasbro did years ago.

Apocalypse, Armor, Mondo, and Orphan-Maker are the most obvious choices, assuming they're keeping on-theme. I probably would've guessed Nimrod had we not just gotten him. I'm guessing the Arokka crew from X of Swords weren't revealed early enough for them to be on the table for this. I think it's very likely we just see some random entry from the rogue's gallery, though; probably Blob. Virtually any mutant is on the table for a Dawn of X wave, and most are wearing variations on classic costumes, but I kind of hope we get Armor or Apocalypse, despite two other recent takes on the big A. His current look is cool, and since we're likely to get Betsy as Captain Britain, it would be great to have him to go along with her.

Armor would be my top guess for the HoX/PoX wave BAF. While Apocalypse has a new distinct look we literally just got the deluxe release and he already had the previous BAF whereas Armor has no figure and she's a more modern character.

What about Melter? The guy who leaves Iron Man falling to pieces with his deadly chest laser.

I think one possibility could be the three headed Sentinal from PoX that worked for Nimrod the Lesser.

Another one could be Rasputin. We haven't had a lady BAF since Okoye, and while the art varied Rasputin most often seemed to be bigger than the average mutant females they depicted next to her.

I am enjoying the new era of HoX more than most (though there are valid complaints about it too so far), so I wouldnt mind if they skipped a character BaF and gave us a four section krakoan gateway.

None of these options I think would inspire people who didnt want HoX looks to buy the wave though. Maybe if they were looking to rope more consumers in Blob would be the best choice. I will absolutely want to buy any new Blob they make. They have recently given us Mystique and Pyro so I could see them slowly putting out the BoEMs like other teams such as Thunderbolts and New Warriors. They are quite in demand on polls and wishlists, and a new Blob might pull in more people than most other options.

As for others suggestions, I dont dig Apocalypse's magic robes look so that would be an easy pass for me. I dont really ever have the desire for all the figures it would take to build the BaF anyways, so I havent ended up with any yet. However, others suggestions of Armor would really make me hope I wanted all the figures because I have always liked her. Id be just as sad missing out on an Armor as I am about missing out on Strong Guy, Dormammu, and Warlock. I also dig the suggestion of Mondo, though I don't know that I would want one enough to buy figures I didn't also want.

I have every intention of getting Two Storm/Thunderbird packs...so that will leave me with one extra Thunderbird...so my question is does anyone want just Thunderbird? Thought I'd ask here before I went to "Evil-bay"

Okay, got my Nimrod/Psylocke/Fantomex set today and Amazon's packaging has reached a new low, even for them. IT CAME WITH NO PACKAGING AT ALL. They just slapped a bunch of shipping stickers on the back of the box and sent it on it's merry way. I couldn't believe my fucking eyes when the driver handed it to me. Anyone else ever have this bullshit happen to them?

Thankfully the figures all seem fine, although the sides of the box are pretty banged up. Not sure if I should bitch about or not. I probably will.

I've love to know if there's a way to transfer those shoulder cannons to the Punisher War Machine figure. I know this new figure has the cannons on a "rail" system, which the Punisher figure does not have, so it might not be doable.

Rasputin would be not a horrible idea. Given my HOX/POX wants are less than a handful I don't know if there would be anything actually HOX/POX BAF related I'd want enough to get the whole wave. But that's just me. Rasputin would be great as a single figure though.

Please please Hasbro let it be Egg or something I totally can pass on. My BAF wants over all are very very limited now, which is great in a way as I forsee myself buying very few whole waves unless I want at least 5 out of 7 figures or something where it just makes more sense to get the whole thing. So...like I said, Egg would be great. Armor *sigh* I'd maybe buy the whole wave. With my luck it would be something like Adversary or Emplate or Astral Shadow King.

I'm one of the lucky ones that got it in a box, but apparently you're not alone in getting the set like this. It's happened occasionally as far back as the Amazon-exclusive reissue of the G1 Transformers Predaking box set, if not before that. I don't know why anyone things this is a good idea, especially since some get shipped in boxes and some don't. Maybe it has to do with distribution center? Who knows. Either way, it sucks.

Hell yes you should botch about it. Theres no call for that kind of fuckery. Hope ya can get the shipping labels off without screwing up the box.

I called and bitched. They're sending me a replacement that's guaranteed to be in a box, a return shipping label, and a $10 credit. I'm fine with that.

When the replacement gets here I'll go over both boxes and pick and choose the best parts for everyone before packing up the old box and shipping it back. It's not like they can sell that box again anyway. Or...will they?
