They still haven't provided me a reason to subscribe annually. That would require more 'largely unique' sculpts (Pepper's suit reused Extremis' legs) like Rescue and access to all of Marvel's comic book archive. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Regarding prescient comments, FA Storm and the pending order I'm awaiting - my opinion remains consistent with my impressions from back in May: Quote:

Good to hear orders are going through for everyone. Maybe Hasbro decided take all orders and will produce enough to satisfy demand.

Finally went thru! I risked moving back to the shipping page and resubmitting but it worked almost instantly. I hope its true that Hasbro would be willing to produce enough to fill demand. It makes a lot of since to use that model since pre-ordering is available and after closing it they can accurately produce to demand.

Got both sets. Not getting a clear date for Hellfire Club but it says Logan and Xavier are slated for October.

If you look at the page now...there is an actual pre-order window that says available to preorder until 9/27. I guess Hasbro is going the route that NECA went through with many of their exclusives recently to help ensure that everyone who wants one gets one. Quote:

What we need is a update of the Trench coat Punisher figure from the Epic Heroes wave, white belt and everything.
|
I’m a little pissed at myself for how much of my money Hasbro is sitting on right now between preorders and Sentinels.
|
^As best I can, I try to live a regret free life. If I feel the 5 Sentinels are excessive when they arrive, they'll become investments: I heard that Haslab's Jabba barge was drawing almost 4 grand on the resale market. I seriously doubt I'll sell the Sentinels, but if I do, even a couple should cover what I put out...

WARNING...WARNING...WARNING... (Read in Nostrormo's Mother voice).
I don't tend to complaint a lot about little plastic figurines, but I've noticed a trend to get bad colour applications, stiff joints, loose joints, miss-aligned accessories etc, etc. I got two Storm/ Thunderbird sets (one more on the way, FOR myself); a Rogue/Pyro set and. Deadpool/Negasonic set. This are the list of QC problemos. Thunderbird: Stupid boot fringes slipping down would it kill them to glue them? (Maybe) Storm 1: supper wobbly head, totally stiff leg swivels, lightning on fingers not painted (which looks like ringworm), leg seam with black paint. Scuff on right breast (both Storms have this, swimsuit ring not painted at all, right leg falling off. Storm 2: no wobbly head, but both heads have miss-aligned tiaras, brown paint splash on boot, black paint splash on skin. I do love the sculpt except I feel Storm should be a little more endowed, I fixed some issues, but why should I? These are not arts and crafts figures, nor cheap. Solution, frankestein the three Storms into one good one. Sigh. Rogue is mostly fine. Some White splodges on the green and a "skin" tag on elbow (yuk), and a horrible neck. Lipstick on teeth on alt head. Pyro: dot on nose. I guess I'm using the other head. No choice. Deadpool: splodges everywhere. Maybe it can be weathering? Negasonic: good apps, great face but, but, hair is too far back, making her look like Ant Mcpalin (google it). So, they are going all back in the box to be fixed at a later date after I move house and get my ducks in a row. Side note: my Duke had the print of the middle of his lips above his top lip. I exchanged that one, as I can't fix that tiny "got chocolate milk?" detail... I still love the figures, but it seems that invariably, when I get an order delivered, I have to boil the kettle, get my pliers/glue/varnish removal/acrylic paints. I guess Hasbro wants us all to get arty. |

EDIT: Added a pic featuring a couple of different figures, on the more common bodies. The head currently on Havoc is from an Articulated Icons Grey Ninja. |
Just scored the Hell Fire Club from Hasbro Pulse

The Hellfire Club is gonna be up for Pre-order for a couple of days, as it now shows a cut off date to order. My guess is that Hasbro is going with a made to order model on this one after their initial stock sold out. |

Any guesses as to what time tonight the leaks are going to hit? |
