Seen it? I had it at one time. The X-Men Classics one (in her red and blue attire) was an improvement, but wasn't much better.

As for most ghastly...nah...that still goes to Scarlet Witch *shivers.

Of course the new Hasbro "vintage" Rogue looks better than those, but that's not a high ceiling to climb. It's pretty awful by modern Legends standards.

I'm pretty stoked for that Stiltman. My 1st comic with him in it as a kid, was of him fighting vs Thor.

Here's some more pics of him plus one that gives you some good info on his armor.

^^^ Sweet! Man, I'll be so frikkin' excited when my set arrives. I'm tempted to order a second set, just 'cause.

I had to make a Walgreens run today and found Moon Knight. He wasn't in the designated toy section, but was two aisles down and on the overhead shelf. This store also had a few perennial peg warmers marked down to $5. These were also a few aisles removed form the normal toy section. No idea if that's a store-specific deal, but if you're in the market for some custom fodder it might be worth checking your local store. I grabbed a Namor for that very purpose.

Captain Nash 09-26-2020 04:08 PM

Had to make a run to the Pet store and stopped in at Target since it's nearby. First time in.....god, six months almost. No Storm/Thunderbird which is expected, but noticed the Gameverse wave pegs were overflowing with...Captain America and Iron Man. Game first wave 2 verions are going to linger for years....

Veronica Mars 09-26-2020 05:48 PM

Popfindr show 0 Storm 2 packs in stock for all the Targets in the area

mine shows one- but PopFinder and me have never worked together. lol. I won't bother unless it says at least 2

redfox 09-26-2020 06:37 PM

Comparing the bodies in package, pretty confident that Jocasta is in fact on an updated Moonstone build. Arms and legs definitely look the same, with an obviously re-tooled torso. With this and the upcoming Vintage Rogue, I'm glad to see Hasbro re-integrating this stronger female body physique back into the line for the characters that need it.

Hmmmm, hopefully this means that Hasbro can now start looking at getting a similar re-tooled She-Hulk build into circulation...;)

^ That Hulk has a dumbell neck joint... guess that is the future.

EvilMonkeyPope 09-26-2020 07:25 PM

Speaking of Moonstone, I'd like to see her in villains wave.

Thinking they might use that She-Hulk body for Titania in the future.

Yes, on both! So many comic villainesses in need of a new figure or a complete re-do. Shame we get them so sparingly in the line.

Speaking of villainesses and re-use, after looking at the Hellfire Queens, I'm hoping we will see those newly sculpted opera gloves recycled onto a possible Madame Hydra. Hasbro's original release needs a drastic update.

Surprised that the Logan/Charles set is sold out on Pulse...

MeLikeJinx 09-27-2020 06:41 AM

Popfindr shows 8 Storm/Thunderbirds at a Target that is farthest away from that I can't get too... but that's good if they are getting that many in at one store. Unlike dumb Baroness that comes in 2 at a time.

classic Moonstone yes, Meteorite no. Granted she never wholeheartedly redeemed herself like some of the other Thunderbolts, but in that persona she was a "hero", or something more akin to one than a villain.

Which leads me to wonder will the Thunderbolt we get this year be Atlas, Meteorite, Jolt or Techno? Or maybe two of them? We're 3 down 4 to go of classic OG Thunderbolts, I'd rather seem them done in waves than a boxset. Unless they gave us an Atlas/Meteorite/Techno boxset.

sh002 09-27-2020 07:19 AM

I recently rewatched Logan and really want a movie X-23 figure. I can’t think of a 1/12 scale figure to use to make one though. The Black Series Jyn Erso figure has potential but a little too tall.

There’s a case of 4 Storm and Thunderbird sets showing up on popfindr at a further out Target. They will probably show up at mine soon but limit it to 1. If I see any I’ll gladly help out others here who might need a set.

Hmmm, wonder if it's a comic pack or Wandavision tie in? If it's the latter, popping the MCU Vision head on a suit body and the Scarlet Witch head on a retooled Peggy Carter would make for unique variants!
