I forwarded a suggestion for Mego to resurrect a super articulated 3.75 inch Pocket Heroes line.
They're listening and open to more of your ideas at the Mego Ambassador Facebook or Youtube Channel

Forward your rad custom to Marty at Mego! Can anyone photoshop a "Pocket Heroes" custom card for this? Love to see something exactly like this at the new Mego at retail!

That was all just blue tack being used to keep the prototype figure together.

Appearing in both Batman vs. Superman and the Dark Knight Rises, is the F/A-18 jet. I wish we'll see these back in stores!

This squad uses the same F/A-18 jet modeled and used by Blue Box International's "Elite Force" toyline (a brand back at retail in your local Tar-zhay stores).

Walmart too hopes to expand their toylines with "Only at Walmart" exclusives. Perhaps its blue branded stores, can team up with Blue Box Toys, and the "Blue Blasters" squadron. And thus release this easy to make "blue" repaint in time for the new Top Gun sequel.

M&C Toys, makers of the World Peacekeepers line, has an F/A 18 Hornet on their website.

The power team elite f-18 is good but the accurately scaled one pictured is a beast. Its huge.
Personally i dont have the room or the money to sink into one of those but they is pretty.

Autobot_Goldbug 10-08-2018 04:49 PM

plus those Blue Box ones never were at retail

Walmart's tradition of huge holiday toys, at below manufacture cost, can help make it reachable in price. Just like their past toy + media cross promotions, this can also coincide with the winter release of a Top Gun Sequel Blu-Ray.

I called Walmart about a Blue Box Toys "exclusive" a few months ago. Few months later, Walmart announced it wants to be America's Best Toy Shop complete with entire "exclusive toylines" as part of its toy plans.

Considering how the 3 3/4 inch Black series was distributed by them, I don't have much faith in their "exclusive toylines."

There's definitely challenges with distribution. I'm thinking maybe some online availability of these exclusives can help a little.

Some years ago I was in a Walmart and the toy department manager said to me she would not order a toy line unless it had a movie out. If Walmart wants to do this, they will need a comprehensive policy and managers who will follow it.

Quick question, how is the Batman HQ from BvsS and JL ? Does it scale good with 3.75 figs?

Thanks!

Most 6" playsets work well for 4", mainly because they tend to make them just a bit small for the figures, probably to save on material cost. One thing this does is create a low ceiling for 6" figures that is perfect for 4" figures.

what would the best 4"ish Robin be to modify into a modern Damian Wayne Robin?

That figure is from Dc Collectible's 7in scale of animated figures. Not sure about the exact details of that specific figure. ToyArk did a photo spread of that line when the figures came out:

eh it'll do for now if i wanna do a bat family display. what other figs are in that line? i'm okay with non posables to a degree

Super Joe 11-06-2018 02:11 PM

^ It an okay figurine for now. Yet for a greater Bat family, definitely suggest that to Mego Ambassador. Marty Abrams is actually a huge Bat fan,

The other figurines don't scale too well for 3.75 inch. Just Robin given his variable "kid" height. Nonetheless you got a good selling point on a "family" of figures. Many casual customers don't know who is Azrael. Yet if Mego puts a Bat symbol sticker on a red Azrael 3.75 Pocket Hero, then other obscure characters like him can sell. Likewise with the new Wonder Woman sequel and its millions of future casual fans. Just put a recognizable yellow WW sticker. That'll attract a greater array of fans and hopefully a greater array of 3.75 figures from her comics too. So definitely submit your superb idea on "families" of figures to big Bat-fan Marty Abrams.
