So in a weird set of news, it looks like Jamie Foxx is coming back to reprise Electro in the 3rd MCU Spider-Man movie.
Wondering if they're going to stick with the TASM2 design or if they're gonna do something new. |

Anyone else hoping that Joe Fixit leads to Hasbro making Mr. Hyde? Not saying they will. I hoped that would happen for Xemnu given some of the tooling on Sasquatch and the Wendigo but who knows. Still not too late Hasbro.

Would Hasbro consider doing an updated Mecha-Hulk figure from the 2004 Incredible Hulk Classics toyline? Sure he's not from the comics, but still a cool looking Hulk Villain.

The X-Men Animated Series revival (or speculation of a revival) is old news. I remember seeing it after Disney+ started back in November. I say leave the original X-Men series alone since it had an actual ending. Plus, I've seen cartoons or played video games where a voice actor returned to a character after a long period of time away and it just didn't work because the actor no longer had a youthful quality to his/her voice. For example, Dan Gilvezan voiced Spiderman 2099 in the video game Shattered Dimensions along side Neil Patrick Harris (616), Josh Keaton (Ultimate), and Christopher Daniel Barnes (Noir). While Gilvezan could still do his Spiderman voice, you could tell that there was an age gap between him and the other voice actors.
If any Marvel shows could get a second life, I'd like to see The Spectacular Spiderman, Wolverine and the X-Men, and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. |
I picked up Toxin from BAM today. Really liking how he turned out. I also tried out the Eddie Brock head on the movie Venom body. It doesn't look bad but the head is a little loose on the ball joint. Hopefully Hasbro will make a comic Venom on this new body.

Apparently, the rest of the Strong Guy wave, as well as AoA Apocalypse, arrived today! I'll give them a check out when I get home.

My Hellfire Club 4 pack has been shipped.
|
My 2 Storm and Thunderbird sets have shipped from Target.
A ton of figures have shipped from Dorkside. |
My Rogue and Pyro arrived, thank you Dorkside (hopefully you still read on this forum!) incredible service as always.
My only complaint (this is directly at Hasbro not DS), towards Rogue is her scarf is a bit large. It kind of gets in the way of being able to do poses. I may end up removing it and see how I like the look without it. My figure's not the best face paint job ever, but it's decent at the same time. Pyro, well, we knew this when he was revealed but he should have been skinnier. It's not like I'm surprised that he's so muscular, I just wish it were otherwise. I think that leaves me with 6 figures on order so far for the rest of the year - HC, Kang and Falcon. Crossing my fingers Firestar is for this year and double crossing them we get a box set for the rest of Mystique's BOEM. |
Jamie Foxx is coming back as Electro for Spider-Man 3, either they loved him so much they HAD to bring him back (unlikely, I could think of several other better actors for Electro), or we're getting a live-action Spider-Verse!!!

Pretty Boy in progress... still needs some paint.
Picked up the McFarlane Fortnite A.I.M. figure at Ross for $11 and I was halfway there. https://i.postimg.cc/kM20NtK6/IMG-3540.jpg |

I know I'm in the definite minority...but I actually enjoyed Jamie Foxx as Electro. While it started off a bit hammy and overdone, the scene in which Spidey is trying to console him in Times Square was pretty powerful stuff...Foxx was brilliant during that particular scene and I actually felt sympathy for Max as he tried to come to grips with what was happening to him. If only the rest of the film could have been as well written as that one particular scene...I honestly think Electro could have been one of the best on screen Spidey villains ever. If this rumor holds up...it'll be cool to see Jamie take another stab at it.
Like Symbi Spidey said...this is some pretty strong evidence that a potential live action Spider-Verse film is on the horizon. Maybe we will be seeing Tom Holland and Tom Hardy crossing paths in the near future after all. |

First, no, they really weren't.
But second, and most importantly, the fact that you watched "Stealth" tells me all I need to know :D EDIT: Man, having to acknowledge that movie's existence distracted me from why I even was here: LOOT! |
I’m really, really hoping that pirate Deadpool gets reused down the line for Corsair.

I don't think the Garfield movies were awful, it's the closest to live action Black Cat that we've gotten, I just think they should of had Emma Stone end up Spider Gwen just to shake things up
