I thought Batman Day is in September? Am I missing something?

Just received Ascending Knight Batman. He is so thoroughly amazing.

My mistake on the date for Batman Day but this is what was sent to me in an email.

I saw the banner and the 5/1 in the lower corner and assumed that was Batman Day. Maybe the figure goes up for preorder with Batman Day 2018 as a tentative release date?

After watching A:IW, I really, really hope they drop some one:12 figures for this movie! They did for Thor....why not Avengers?

Did some digging...May 1st has become Batman Day? Saw something about the old Batman Day becoming Harley Quinn Day? Not sure...

But if SK Batman does come out this year I'd be a happy camper

Me too. I thought the figure they showed at NYTF looked pretty good.

I’m a huge fan of the SK Batman and very excited for him and all his variant releases. Would love to see an all blacked out version, much like TF AK Batman. As for movie figures, would love to see a Thanos with removable armor and Star Lord. Star Lord needs a one:12 imho.

I would love both of those figures as one:12. And I would love a SK Batman all blacked out. Would go good with my TF AK. I hope the drop any figures from the movie. But I would Love Star Lord and an armored up Thanos with led gauntlet!

I am jonesin’ for some Star Lord. I think Falcon could be amazeballs too. If they would do Black Widow some justice in the head sculpt I’d be pretty stoked for that too.

If Gordon comes with that bat signal I might have to jump on that. I'm not sure about the purple suit Catwoman even though I prefer that look for her. But that Batmobile is definitely excellent and I want to see more of it

I imagine he does come with the bat signal, or possibly it’ll be a separately available piece like the Frankenstein doorway. I’d love for them to do more accessories and vehicles.

I think the purple colorway works pretty well. If I had to choose, I’d go with the black suit, but purple looks funky in a nice way, it has a cool gleam to it from the pattern on the fabric. Plus I own plenty of black things and hardly any purple things. Plus I would rather spend $80 on something that’s gonna make my life complete for about an hour than, say, food.

These are interesting reveals. I'm curious to see how the batsignal is packaged. It'll probably come with Gordon as I don't think the Frankenstein doorway sold too well for Mezco. A Batsignal is a little more iconic and if it actually lights up I can see interest being very high. The batmobile also looks and sounds impressive. However I hope it doesn't follow the BVS batmobile or the frequently shown but never talked about captains chair. I love the figures but the larger pieces never seem to actually make it to market.

Ascending Batman is pretty awesome. I was not big into his look but ultimately I'm glad I got him. Truth is- I'm so anti-softgoods on figures it's borderline crazy! But when Mattel won't come through with a well articulated figure that looks this good I've got to change up... I'm still not a fan of softgoods- but on some figures it just looks too good to pass on.
