Heads up!
Just happened to be at the TRU at Triangle Towne Center at opening this morning, they restocked since Friday. There were at least 2 full complete sets of the Marvel Infinite Series 3 3/4" figures. They had Grimm Reaper, Hyperion, Hulk, Captain America and the Wasp. I got one set so there was still one set left. Also there were about 5 DC Multiverse Superman figures and 2 Penquins. Must have missed out on the Catwoman.

mj3141x 08-05-2014 10:20 AM

Saw a few new things at the TRU in Cary today at lunch. They had the big Hero Class Star Wars: Rebels X-Wing Fighter, the 6-inch Black Series Jabba the Hutt (x1), the 6-inch Black Series Scout Trooper w/Speeder Bike (x2), and several more Star Wars: Command army men style sets. Still no sign of the 50th Anniversary GI Joe exclusives. Still no sign of anyone buying the Guardians of the Galaxy toys :)

It figures, I just ordered it online through TRU website. I am looking for the new Anakin and Clone Trooper 6" Black Series, but it looks like these will be easy to find.

BTW, I have seen some GI Joe Anniversary figs on BBTS website, are these the ones you are looking for?

Falconhood 08-06-2014 06:56 AM

I saw at TRU that the X-Wing is now $39.99, but is it any better than the older ones that I can just get for cheaper at Crowemag's? or should i jump on it? Larry already told me that the TRU AT-AT is BIGGER than the older ones from POTF and orginal that he has at the store, but I'm not sure Bigger is Better until I can open a warehouse to make some breathing room here again.

i am the ONLY person that has NOT seen these new 6" figures...and I don't have to work and went ALL over Wake-county yesterday. sheesh! anyways, I found these 20" Star Wars figures at the TARGET in Knightdale last night for $20 of Chewbacca and Darthvader, with more to come according to the back. So...what's with this trend to make Star Wars bigger and BIGGER???
https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3858/...6d9e2cee_z.jpg#starwars 20 inch figs by SacredKnightOfTomorrow, on Flickr

Also at the Wal-Mart in Knightdale I found Rattrap and Tankor from TFG, but I bought them, but they are out there, fyi.

The TTC TRU needs to get some new stuff out!

The TTC Target has NOT reset, nor Knightdale nor WF, but Knightdale has started the process, it's obvious.

I'm about to post the stuff i found yesterday in the http://www.toyark.com/look-what-i-ju...75/#post553451 thread, so that is another indication of toy sightings in this area.

Hey now! I'm totally buying Guardians of the Galaxy figs...just not at TRU because the prices are ridiculous.

$10 for 2 when EVERYONE else has them $7 for two...insane.

Yes, the Red 3 X-Wing in the vintage-style packaging at TRU is an excellent version of the X-Wing and I would highly recommend it. I have one loose on the shelf and I'm very pleased with it, and the vintage-style packaging is an awesome bonus. I would say that the paint operations are superior to previous versions and the screen accuracy and construction are both extremely solid. Just as a tip, one thing I do to display my large-scale X-Wings is I leave one set of wings off so that the ship can fit further back on the shelf.

Haha, sorry! I'm just bitter that they didn't release any 3 3/4-inch figures from the film. The vehicles in particular do actually look pretty cool.

Yeah, that's them. I got the SDCC exclusive version of the jeep from the TRU website but I'm going to need several of the store released sets. I think the names of them are Arctic Ambush (Snow Job vs. Cobra BAT), Battle Below Zero (COBRA WOLF w/SKY HAWK), Danger at the Docks (VAMP MARK II REPAINT w/NIGHT LANDING RAFT-BLUE), The Eagle’s Edge (Leatherneck, Destro and Hawk), and Heated Battle (Blowtorch vs. HEAT Viper). So yeah, I know I can order them online but I guess I still like finding stuff locally. Or trying to at least. But if you find any before I do that you want to tuck away for me until the next Toy Show, I'll be there in September!

You got it!
I always love the hunt.

Thanks. I would use the 20% off coupon, but it doesn't cover products on sale.

mj3141x 08-08-2014 09:51 AM

Just saw three of the 50th anniversary GI Joe Heated Battle sets (with Blowtorch and HEAT Viper) at the TRU in Cary but the packaging on all three was destroyed and the paint application and construction was crappy on all three so I passed them up. If you're interested though they were only $14.99. No sign of the vehicle sets or any of the other figure sets though.

Falconhood 08-08-2014 06:52 PM

I really wanted to get that X-Wing today, but I already spent $25 on the Jedi Starfighter 2014 edition at Target.
I saw the Blowtorch 2-pack of GI Joes...really??? really??? that's what we're getting for the BIG 50th Annivesary of GI Joe???
I really was hoping for some 3.75" version of Super Joes, Bullet Man, and Atomic Mike(is that right?).
oh! The FIREBAT Kreo set is about half price at TRU...and it's one of the NEW ones! Isn't that crazy? I couldn't pass it up at that price.

mj3141x 08-11-2014 08:02 AM

For anyone who collects My Little Pony I noticed that several lines of MLP toys were on pretty good clearance at the Walmart in Fuquay over the weekend. (For example, large plushies that are normally $19.99 were marked down to $10.)

JangonateTK421 08-11-2014 07:56 PM

Finally! Finally found a Black Widow at Durham TRU. With her and Stormtrooper in the collection, I'm feeling pretty good.

Also found a 6" Scout and Speeder Bike at Southsquare Target in Durham. One remained after I left, just hanging with Jabba.

Falconhood 08-12-2014 04:52 AM

Howmuch are the Scout/Speederbike sets?

JN knows this but i FINALLY found the 6" Boba Fett!!!!

Also, not finding much new stuff, but finding too many CLEARANCE things to waste my cash on!

JangonateTK421 08-13-2014 05:53 PM

Snagged the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy Legends at Southpoint Target. Still missing a Rocket Racoon if anyone finds one near RTP. Stash him or pick him up for me!

I saw a Rocket at the TRU in Cary today at lunch. He was at the back of a peg on the GOTG end cap.

mj3141x 08-14-2014 11:36 AM

I saw some new stuff at the TRU in Cary today. They had the Star Wars Black Series Battle on Endor set for $99.99 (the one that comes with the Endor AT-ST, Han, Stormtrooper, Imperial Officer, AT-ST Driver, Ewoks, Leia and Chewbacca). They also had a fresh supply of 3 3/4-inch Black Series figures (not the latest wave though) and several other restocked SW pegs.

I also saw more GI Joe 50th Anniversary sets. They had more of the Blowtorch vs. HEAT Viper 2-pack and quite a few Low-Light vs. Night Viper sets.

They also had quite a few 6-inch Marvel Infinite Series figures. I didn't make note of which ones but it appeared to be a large number of the latest wave.

Shucks! Thanks for the sighting, but I'm about to head out of town to Lake Junaluska for a week.

Falconhood 08-14-2014 07:42 PM

if anyone finds STORM in that TRU Exclusive please lmk! She was my girlfriend back in the early 1990s, and even thought I left her to date Zealot, I never stopped loving her.

Ha ha! I'll keep my eyes peeled. If I stumble upon them with some extra cash and nothing else pressing to buy, I'll want a set myself for Jubilee, but too much on my plate right now.

My mother lives up there in Waynesville, I've been walking around that lake many times. Anyhow, when I visit her I always end up hitting the TRU at Greensboro, Winston Salem, Hickory and Asheville. I always end up finding stuff t these places before they hit the triangle. Heck, I found the Marvel Infinite series 3 3/4" figures in Greensboro 2 months before I ever saw them here.
