I've got an extra taco truck, PM me if you want it. You pay what I paid, $50.00 at HTS plus shipping.

aefranci 12-10-2013 11:53 PM

Ahh if youre willing to sell another havoc I'll take it. You're awesome, much respect

shunquan 12-11-2013 12:40 AM

want list:

warrior 3 from the thor series
classics havok for uncanny avengers line up
a bomb
omega red
black knight
aurora
unmasked doom
OML wolverine
sdcc nick fury

Yes I know Fury's on HTS for cheap, but they dont offer international shipping sadly.

With all these major talent, is there anyone who does custom for cheap? I have no paint skills :(

todigandbedug 12-11-2013 01:03 AM

I'm pretty much in the same boat as many of you with respect to my wants list. I've managed to get almost all the figures that are really high priority for me except for:
Dark Avengers Ms. Marvel
SDCC Human Torch
Both yellow/blue and red/blue Giant Man
Sewer Clash Lizard from Spider-Man line
Shocker from Spider-Man line
Anti-Venom from Spider-Man line
Dr. Octopus from Showdown line
Watcher from Marvel Select

And then sure, there are lots of rare variants that I'm just not willing to pay the secondary market price for, but that I'd love to have:
Absorbing Man (Metal skin)
Electro (Translucent hands)
Bag Head Spider-Man
Victor von Doom
X-Force Archangel (Was so bummed that I missed when he went back up on HTS!)
Astral Doctor Strange
Family Dollar Thor
Gray Beast from Showdown line

And then of course there are tons of odds and ends like repaints and reissues that are very low priority for me.

I was lucky enough to pick up Firestar at retail. It was before I even started collecting the line. I was in a Toys 'R' Us and saw that and the henchmen three-pack and just thought they were so cool that I bought them both at like $15 or $20 a piece. They looked like they had been there forever collecting dust. I love hearing other people's stories like this. Getting rare figures for retail or less is the best!

This is my wishlist... what I need is rare so I understand if I have to pay more:

Black Panther (black eyes variant) MOC

Vision Phasing Translucent variant (But it has to have the # 92330 or similar on the back) look at the first pic I posted to see what I mean (5 digit circled #). MOC

Thanos (light blue matte variant) The one on the left of the pic. MOC

Hey, Rafael, what is the difference between the two Visions? I can't even tell with the two of them side by side lol. I have a MOC Phasing Vision, but the stamped number on back is something like 02310 or something. I'd have to dig it out and look to see.

Edit: Never mind. Just found out in a different thread that they're matte vs. glossy and the one you need has a stamp beginning with a "9."

that is WELL nice...proper job mate!!!

here in the UK i have only seen THREE Marvel Universe at a store.... We dont have it like you guys. Also if a figure is say $30 that is under £20 in my money...so the secondary market is cheap as it goes.

I collect for both the fun of it and the as an investment. My son gets toys to play with and ten years from now can sell them and buy his first car!! :) win win. Unlike say a Ben10 figure for a tenner...three years later is garage sale fodder. Where a collectable figure could be worth loads...at a minimum it hold its tenner value.

I have begun customizing as well. Madame Hydra/Viper and Baron Von Strucker.... And most of our almost 40 strong S.H.I.E.L.D. army. I will post pics after Christmas.

ukmu 12-11-2013 02:45 AM

My wish list is basic stuff....

mostly Ms. Marvel (carrol danners)
hydra troops from cap movie (comic colours)
MODOK baf
QuickSilver
Scarlet Witch
DareDevil
Baron Zemo
Black Knight

are you lookig for SDCC Zemo or new Zemo?

quinten182 12-11-2013 07:11 AM

Haves:
Metal absorbing man
translucent hands Electro
flame-on Human Torch

No selling though, as I'd only part with them to trade for:
Astral Strange, Old Man Logan, Classic Havok.
(And I'm the idiot who had these at one point and sold them for a vacation before my kid was born, ha)

Here's the extra MU figures I have. If you need it, PM me and it's yours. As far as my international AKER friends... I don't know anything about shipping outside the US so if you really must have one of these figures, you're going to have to work with me closely and show me how to ship it and rates and etc... Also, if the photo has the regular & variant figures, I'd rather sell as a pair. The red hulks, spidermans and dark hawkeyes are just multiple figures.

3233rafael 12-11-2013 08:01 AM

^ $10.00 bucks ea.

bmorr 12-11-2013 08:20 AM

all MOC no less. in all the years ive been here, given price and selection, that is one of the best BSTs ive ever seen.

ultraman zoffy 12-11-2013 08:49 AM

Good job hooking folks up, Rafael! That's really cool of you man...
As far as the new (last?) wave goes, I only picked up Omega Red, Nightcrawler, and Black Knight, but Omega Red and Black Knight are easily the must haves of the wave.

Even when a reissue or remake of a figure isn't as good we still demand go down for the expensive one. People are happy with what they can get for cheap.

Oh, I agree that interest in the original would drop considerably, especially for fans of the character and those looking to complete various team line-ups. But I wouldn't necessarily say the original would then only appeal to MOC completionists.

Mainly because I would still want a loose one, even if a better version of him is released down the road. I really don't care that his figure is using one of the worst MU body molds. He is currently a gap in my loose single-packed collection and I'd like to fill in that gap. I would also want his card back and pack-in stuff.

But I refuse to get a custom of him, or pay his going price on eBay. I have never paid more than retail for an MU figure to date, and I'm not to to start unless he's literally the last one I need to finish the set.

bmorr 12-11-2013 11:16 AM

Im hoping in the new line we get an updated classic thor. the SW one is so undersized compared to hercules.

Sent a PM about green Abomination. If you want to move out both colors as a set, that's fine too. Let me know and thanks!

bmorr 12-11-2013 11:46 AM

3233rafael is the hero Toyark deserves.

3233rafael 12-11-2013 11:55 AM

^ Lol, thanks but I'm no hero. I'm just doing what most AKERS do, help each other out. I know one day one of you is going to help me out too...

ProfessorHov 12-11-2013 12:12 PM

He really is the best. What a deal thanks man. I owe you.

quinten182 12-11-2013 02:50 PM

Yeah, this is the closest thing to Santa being real I've seen this year. You're awesome.

clevelandhags 12-11-2013 08:22 PM

I have an extra dagger, aurora, and Abomb. Cost plus ship or trade 1:1 for stuff I need. Don't have a list at the moment.
