What happened to Wonder Woman and Supergirl? I finally got the DCIH Version of Supergirl I wanted so I'm not as bothered about her, but I really really need a decent 1/18th Wonder Woman. DC Women have been poorly served in general.

Saw Aquaman on Thursday night and was inspired to make a 3D printed Trident.
I should have this in hand some time after the New Year.
It will be listed among my other auctions as well, just in case any of you are as inspired as I am by the new Aquaman movie.

I was not impressed. They said nothing about what they plan to do. They have a 3 year contract, it takes 8 to 12 months from proposal to pegs for any action figure line, they don't have a very big window to work in. Now if there is a contract extension or renewal clause based on how well they do with what they have, that might be different.

I had seen other industry people confirm this as well.

They don't even get to start selling until Spring 2020. It is unlikely they even have much of a plan. I wouldn't expect to even see any info until Toyfair 2020.

Did they say that? If so, I missed it. That would give them development time, but still, what do they plan to develop? That info is usually in their proposal to the company (DC) so it would not be a problem to include it in the release.

Those would be awesome but I don't think the current Aquaman movie was included since it occurred before spring 2020. Maybe Aquaman 2 if there is one.
They do own Tech Deck so it does show they are not afraid to make playsets though so that could be good as well.

Well Mattel certainly won't make any of the above, so they should be available.

When making their sales pitch for the license they would have had to havev a plan. Given they beat out Mattel, Hasbro, Jazzwares, Jakks and all the others it must be a plan Mattel liked enough to go with Spinmaster, who never held a license this big.
And I expect the 3 year window was wanted by one side or the other as that looks to be the end of DC movies wave 1. Renegotiate depending on if the movies go more Aquaman/Wonder Woman quality or BvS/Justice Leauge.
Either way it CANT be bad news for 1/18 collectors as there was zero future with Mattel.

Hopefully Spin Master gives us something good all we can do now is Hope and make customs as per usual ... speaking of customs I finally made Elongated Man from The CW Flash show & it confirmed my fear about painting masks around the eyes it's really hard
