I dont see why if zoe saldana was green why they couldnt have made beetz comic accurate instead of looking like she just stepped outta Coffey. I mean i know why but actors and actresses should fit into the role not the other way around,

And to be fair i hated how cable looked too.....looked like a sci fi channel rendition...actually the whole movie felt cheap nd slapped together.

The easiest way to make her comic accurate would been to use the existing domino head use the white upper arms offa dagger and a lil paint. Or if they wanted to keep the actress head swap the hair with domino from the squatch wave.

And yah that looks like Zombinoe. Maybe a custom from the zombie verse.

I’ve seen a ton of those Zazie B figures clogging up the shelves around here. I counted 24 of them at the Walmart I visited last night. I definitely wish I would have waited on that purchase. I can see these being at Ross in the next couple months for 50% off.

Some people don't get that the movie incarnation isn't supposed to be the comic incarnation.

Also, while some people usually say it's not a race thing, it tends to boil down to being a race thing. Particular when it comes to film incarnations. I mean, people went nuts over Heimdall, and then did it again when Michael B. Jordan was cast as Johnny Storm. Then there is the whole Starfire thing over on Titans...

Fox-verse Domino most likely isn't even a genetically engineered racially questionable mutant created by a creepy cult who's end result seems to always look like that.

Making the Gamora comparison doesn't really work either. GotG was clearly pulling out all the stops for making aliens look alien and being green was central to her character design. DP2 even went with the reverse domino pattern with her design.

That said, people also tend to forget that the Deadpool films work on smaller budgets than the other superhero movies. For some reason, Fox threw more money at the 2015 Fantastic Four film more than Deadpool 2 (Unless you count the PG-13 rerelease). The only major Superhero films I can think of that cost lest than Deadpool 2 are Deadpool 1 and The New Mutants.

That isn't even including all the problems that arise with full, movie quality, body paint. Jennifer Laurence had issues with it for Mystique.

That said, this seems like a case where the person didn't properly prep. Some primer, and a brighter white would've gone a long way. As is, it looks like they should've done another layer or two of white and not made the black area around the eye as large. She kinda looks like an attempt at a Nolan-verse Duela Dent more than Domino.

Strong Guy vs. DEVASTATOR!
 

Finished Strong Guy today and found Devastator at Walmart for $15.88. Devastator is the typical McFarlane large figure that is fun to own. I want a Solomon Grundy by McFarlane. I was going to wait to finish Strong Guy but decided to get the figures I was missing. He is a cool figure. Will have to get an X-Factor section of the X-Men shelf started.

^ I finally put together my Strong Guy last week even though I had all the figs for a couple of months now. Strong Guy is awesome... perfect weight and has a quality feel to him, plus he can actually stand up even though he is top heavy... best BAF since Juggernaut IMO.

Yeah, I was surprised about that too as their separate clear plastic pieces I had to attach to the window frames. As such, you could also not use them if you really wanted to or pretend a window is broken or something.

(more like Battle Damaged SpiderMan- it's just junk he wore for one issue after a weird scientist patched him up after a fight with the Sinister Six) I'll still get it (the FOMO is real) but that is just a terrible terrible waste of a figure space. uhg... but happy for everyone that felt the need for this costume... again- uhg. :P

Just get over it. Comics change backstories and costumes all the time. Who cares if they are different in the movies as long as they are they character? I just think of the movies like alternate universe comics.
People deal with that multiverse garbage all the time in the comics just fine, but the movies are apparently sacred and must be exactly like that one version of the character that I know and want to see and if you change it, I am going to cry and you are personally attacking my life and beliefs and I will never read comics or see a comic movie again until the next one comes out.
