The head doesn't stay on for shit due to the stump of a neck joint and as I have mentioned before, the stump also means she has no articulation there at all and her legs can only spread out to form an A rather than a T.

It also doesn't help that my figure also has a circular paint chip right above her lip so it looks like she has a mole there. YUCK!!!

Having seen a couple reviews of the new figure, she has the same neck joint

I agree. I had a tougher time getting used to that initial Scarlet Witch fig, but eventually got the knack. This pic has her feet out of frame and it was years ago, but I remember being satisfied with the results after fiddling with her center of gravity and I'm also fairly certain I didn't use a peg. However, to your point, I believe there was something about her being elevated that made it easier to achieve balance...

I've also noticed that with those heels, sometime the heel is just slightly too short

I bought Negative Zone Spider-Man for $17.99 earlier today. All of the Retro exclusives are 6 per case per figure. One Target further out has Rogue so I expect it at the Target near me soon and probably before the street date. I’ll see if I can get it in store even though I have her and Gambit preordered. It’s always nice to find figures in person once in a while. I’ll try the Toybox Hall of Armor out with my comic Iron Man Armors. Hasbro needs to release more comic Iron Man Armors. Target has a B1G1 50% off deal from Target for online and in store purchases until 11/28. I’ve maximized the deal on previous orders so far by cancelling and repurchasing figures.

Whihc reviews? Only one of the three I saw said anything about the neck joint and that reviwer said it was the regular ball joint with the hinge.

EDIT:

Nevermind, I saw MCUCollector's review and that is very disappointing. I like the white color better over the overused blue shading, but without the neck at least being different I don't see a reason to get this one one.

EDIT EDIT:

Well shit, I went to cancel my preorder for Black Cat at Pulse only to find that I have already been charged for both her and Jameson as they are shipping them out this week. Figures

sh002 11-23-2020 08:17 AM

6 Rogues and 12 Gambits at another Target that I’ll be near later today. I’ll see if I can check it out.

Veronica Mars 11-23-2020 09:33 AM

Most of the Targets in my area have 6 or 12 Rogues, no Gambits yet

Also looks like Black Cat and JJJ are shipping from Pulse soon

Real quick question: which head would work better for an "unmasked" Kang - the Victor Von Doom head from Infamous Iron Man, or the bearded Reed Richard head from the black-costume version?

Bearded reed.

I missed the Black Cat figure. I told myself I wasn't going to get her but now I kind of want her. If you have an extra and are looking to unload one, I'd be happy to work something out.

Between those two definitely the bearded Reed, I've always seen Kang as having facial hair under the mask. Personally I wouldn't use either of those since Kang's hair is usually black and Reed's expression doesn't really fit Kang.

That's sad to hear. By the way are you like a human obituary or something. I notice you often are the one to first send the message about someone's death on here.

Actually my friends and family send me notices when they see them knowing what huge X-Men fan I am...and I in turn share them here.

Veronica Mars 11-23-2020 11:10 PM

That's 3 X-Men voice actors this year :(

I just googled it, is it the Cyclops voice actors from the 90’s show and X-Men evolution and now Magneto?

I always loved this line in the show. May he rest in peace.

..... Pretty please, Hasbro?

Captain Nash 11-24-2020 04:12 PM

Next Friday is going to be on FIRE. This may well replace the Marvel Monday on 12/7 I am thinking? There's no way they're not going to put her up for preorder before end of year. And the other figures from that leak/rumor went up the last few months. This is absolutely it.

redfox 11-24-2020 04:59 PM

Really hoping we see that rumored Lady Deathstrike!!!! :D :D :D

MeLikeJinx 11-24-2020 05:00 PM

I'm still shocked Negative Zone Spidey came out of nowhere and was able to be found on Target shelves like a week after it was even first announced. I'm hoping for more X-men Retro reveals... preferably blue version Jim Lee Psylocke with alternate ponytail headsculpt.

Lady Deathstrike would definitely be a fantastic reveal.

Hulkwummy 11-24-2020 05:06 PM

Or maybe a Retro Jim Lee Jubilee with a new head sculpt with sunglasses in her hair.
