Maybe those Razor Fist guesses weren't too far off he's going to be in Shang Chi

Peggy is not the New Captain Britain that I'd prefer but it wouldn't be the worst

What trailers?

Today was Disney's Q4 investor call, they released a bunch of MCU show trailers, casting details for upcoming projects and a teaser for the new F4 movie, plus a ton of SW, Pixar and Disney stuff

Oh, is that where that stuff that just suddenly showed up on my Facebook page is coming from? I thought those were all fan stuff.

Most of them don't sound interesting in the slightest. Like Secret Invasion? Let's get through the next five years before doing another giant ass crossover, okay people?

Fantastic Four sounds awesome though. Hope the fifth attempt works.

StuartGreen2019 12-10-2020 07:59 PM

@Dr Kain: WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and What If? all got new trailers and Ms. Marvel has a sizzle reel. You can find the trailers on YouTube.

WandaVision:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBhlqe2OTt4

Falcon and the Winter Soldier:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkBfGvb7NzM

Loki:

What If:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iLVoEg9aLk

Ms. Marvel sizzle:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRNI9TtBM5E

I think that's all of them.

Secret Invasion isn't a movie it's a show focusing on Nick Fury and Talos. I think the only movies they talked about were Shang Chi, Ant-Man 3, Captain Marvel 2 and they confirmed that they would not recast Black Panther, as far as I've seen so far anyway

StuartGreen2019 12-10-2020 08:09 PM

I would love to see a Marvel Legends figure of "What if?" Peggy in her Cap suit and of the "Hawkeye" suits for Clint and Kate. I also am curious to see how Tim Roth's return as Abomination in "She-Hulk" is handled and I hope Liv Tyler returns as Dr. Elizabeth "Betty" Ross. I'm also wondering what Hulk will do on the series, but I'm not a fan of the current Merged Hulk and having Hulk's arm permanently injured after 'Endgame'. I'm on the fence about Jon Watts directing 'Fantastic Four', as I'm not overtly fond of his Spider-Man films.

And I simply cannot wait to see what Marvel Legends figures we'll see for 'Spider-Man 3', now that Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Emma Stone, Kirsten Dunst, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire and Charlie Cox will all reprise their roles in the film.

Dr Kain 12-10-2020 08:16 PM

If Secret Invasion is a TV series theys hould not have been advertising it in a movie.

The Hulk has to give Jennifer the transfusion that makes her She-Hulk, everything that's been said since Endgames points to Ruffalo wanting to step back from the MCU so we're likely to see that exit on the show. I'm still waiting for them to announce Bryce Dallas Howard coming back for the new Spider Man movie.

I am curious as to why they recast Cassie Lang, Kathryn Newton didn't impress me on Supernatural.

With Charlie Cox back as DD in Spidey I wonder if we'll see Krysten Ritter in one of the upcoming projects

All I want is Tobey in the Last Stand costume! And then, y'know, an action figure of it :D

Captain Nash 12-10-2020 08:40 PM

Holy crap. Those trailers look great! Loki in particular looks extremely interesting.*

And WandaVision, well, we all knew that was going to be all kinds of weirdness, but I am sold.

* But ugh. Owen Wilson. o-O I don't know what character he's playing, it's still just going to be him being Owen Wilson.

Maybe drillbit taylor is joining the mcu......muahahahaha.

MeLikeJinx 12-10-2020 11:39 PM

Damn... that What if trailer is amazing! Same animation style as Tron Uprising... Winter Soldier looks too sexy though. LOL. And I like the idea of Cap still being skinny Steve Rogers... I mean that super serum stuff is just plain cheating.

warmachine6 12-11-2020 03:31 AM

A war-machine series , about time !!! after seeing the falcon & winter soilder trailer i cant wait

Trivial Psychic 12-11-2020 07:57 AM

Am I the only one who feels like all of these show announcements on both the Star Wars and Marvel side feel like it's all a bit too much? That some of these characters are better enjoyed in smaller doses?

"What If's" animation and art style looks amazing,...it's about time that Marvel upped their animation game to at least the standard that DC and Warner Brothers cranks out on a seemingly routine basis.

TheBlueMarvel 12-11-2020 08:49 AM

No, you aren't alone. But you'd have to fire up the Delorean and meet me about three years in the past. Disclaimer: these views you are espousing will make you unpopular with the faithful. Don't dare be discerning.

In all fairness, I can almost taste the angst of movie studios hemorrhaging money/projections in the wake of the pandemic. As TIME/WARNER demonstrated earlier this week, the industry is trying to pivot quickly to the public need to avoid mass gatherings. The entertainment industry has engaged in a race to bolster both streaming content and profits and this blitz by Disney is their salvo to answer Warner Bros' initial shots fired.

What If is the one offering that somewhat interests me and that's ONLY because it's animated. Speaking of which, I'm not a big fan of rotoscope; if actors are pantomiming, just go live action.

I've been waiting since they announced the cancellation of an Annihilation toon for Marvel to get serious. About DC, they've taken a notably dip since Gods and Monsters and Paradox Flashpoint. The highs, for me, have been City of Demons, Justice League Dark, and Red Hood. Everything else has just been inoffensive.

Spyne98 12-11-2020 09:34 AM

Man, that's a lot to digest. I'm excited but I feel like they might be oversaturating everything.

Ultra Seven 12-11-2020 11:37 AM

There are currently eleven MCU projects slated for next year, with something coming pretty much every week of next year. That does seem to verge on too much.

hasbroherofan 12-11-2020 12:36 PM

It's definitely a lot, but I don't think all of those will realistically air in 2021. We'll likely see more delays.

Tim Roth returning was a big surprise.

Hoping we finally get Miss America ahead of the inevitable movie version.

TheBlueMarvel 12-11-2020 01:23 PM

I'd welcome her. They could put her in a 2-pack with Blue Marvel, then we'd final complete the 616 Ultimates.

Agree, unfortunately. It would be wonderful if this all did come to pass next year, even though it is a lot, but I'm also suspecting we'll see some of it moved to 2022 and some of that moved to 2023.

I want to know when we'll get that Moon Knight series, even though it will be heavily watered down compared to the source material to make it fit in with Disney's family friendly content.

hasbroherofan 12-11-2020 01:41 PM

The Armor Wars tv show means the iron (no pun intended) should be hot for Retro Iron Man figure in the next few years.

Not necessarily, one of the announcements yesterday was the Disney Plus staR section for more adult, less family friendly content

Excellent! Moon Knight definitely deals with themes and issues that are not necessarily kid friendly, but still important to address. The announcement way back (a year, two years?) ago that there would be a Moon Knight series was probably the highlight of all the non-movie stuff they announced.
