Everyone has been clamoring for the pinless tech...and now we're paying for it, because Hasbro seriously has no idea how to implement it properly. I hope you're able to get them unstuck.

Also, the booted foot on my Peter B was assembled wrong. I've noticed it on yours as well. It's an easy fix...all you have to do is rotate the boot and swivel the ankle accordingly to match it up. You'll get much better articulation out of it as a result.

That whole pinless thing taking hold is why i have virtually quit buy marvel legends, makes customizing them that much harder and like you pointed out their crap qc is only made worse by this pinless thing. This is what started to happen to mu before it died.....pinless, under-articulated and rising prices.

My Firestar arrived two days ahead of schedule, she's so cool, I don't hate the collar as much as I thought I would, though it's clearly not meant to be used with the cartoon head

So far with the different Fox X-Men figures and Kang I've had no problems at all with the pinless construction but with these figures it's an issue. I'm not even convinced my Gwen's left knee is technically articulated because it behaves like a solid piece. I'm pretty sure the thin, cartoonish limbs are a significant factor for why this problem has so notably shown up here but not before.

Thanks for calling out the boot, something similar happened with my black series Wedge but I didn't notice it here until you pointed it out. Even Hasbro's official product images have the boot wrong.

My Thanos pre-order from Dorkside arrived today. Overall I love how he turned out but he's certainly not perfect. First off he's about the same size as the comic BAF Thanos, they're like the same height but this new one is a bit beefier in general. The overall consistency is appreciated, it would be weird if one was notably larger than the other. The colors are great and for the most part well applied, there are a few little spots of slop on mine. I'm particularly fond of the different shades of blue, the effect is similar to the greens applied on the 80th anniversary Hulk. The sculpt is also on point, I think except for the open gauntlet hand everything on this one is brand new. I really like his maniacal laughing head, the expression comes straight from the comic and in both instances shows the mad Titan drunk with power. The King Thanos head is well sculpted and painted too but Hasbro really should've replaced it with an alternate classic head. I've got other Thanos figures sporting more serious expressions so I'm not personally upset by the situation but considered on its own this figure only having the laughing classic head feels limiting for display options. Speaking of limiting, it's not entirely surprising but Thanos has some articulation spots that don't have much range. His elbows don't even get a full 90 degree bend and his belt, while a little flexible, hinders his hips. Everything does move smoothly though and his hands are easy to swap. Some additional hands such as an open right hand or a closed fist Infinity Gauntlet would have been nice especially since he includes no energy effects or other accessories.

I wonder if people will start buying up Boom Boom for her fire hand accessory now. I always thought it was odd how Boom Boom of all characters got a unique hand accessory.

Boom Boom likely got a unique hand because there was scarcely anything else unique about the fig other than the head and minor accents...

I was going to say something along the lines of "but people would have to paint it." Then I looked back at Boom Boom and realized that her hand is glowing so not the case, haha. I could see people buying that up for the effect. I think it would look pretty cool!
I also really like Boom Boom, but I'm a weird X-Force fan.

With the announcement that Zawe Ashton will be the main villain in Captain Marvel 2, did we just get our MCU Mystique?

That's interesting. The only other ones I could think off off the top of my head for female villains for Captain Marvel are Deathbird and Moonstone so it could be, or it could be one of them, obviously switching the race of either which is fine. Or, it could be a brand new villain.

I read a few rumors that she's Phyla-Vell, but will act more like Genis-Vell.

I also heard the suggestion she could be playing Veranke, who in this continuity is the daughter of Talos. She would be leading the radicalized sect of Skrulls Talos & Fury are tracking in “Secret Invasion.” My bid would be for Mystique, personally. I think it’d be cool to have her infiltrating S.W.O.R.D, since what we’ve seen of them suggests they could play into the MCU version of characters like the Sentinels or Nimrod.

Those are all good options too, I thought Mystique only because there have been rumors for awhile that Rogue might debut in Captain Marvel 2.

I really dig the idea of Marvel seeding in X-Men characters in other projects before making a full-on X-Men movie.
