Must be nice for those legends collectors right now lol. I only own a grand total of three haha. I personally stay away from them because of cost and space. Sure alot of them look nice, but MU is great for dios. Theres something about them that are so appealing in the 4" scale.

Ditto! I only have the X-Teams myself of them, although with MU's costs going up slightly it's almost the same, unless you're buying the ML's for 20 then yeah. On another note are we going to keep calling them MU or should we switch to calling them AI when the new ones come out? I'm all for sticking to MU, or we could call them the Platinum series haha:P

bmorr 01-07-2014 10:57 AM

might as well keep calling them MU for now. its all the same articulation anyhow. Plus, I see them getting lazy and reissuing MU figures in this line to pad out the cases.

samsson37 01-07-2014 12:09 PM

You mean I get ANOTHER chance to buy a iron man or Captain America !! Oh joy !!! Dreams come true !!!

Haha yup, I don't know why I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find that last IM and got it him off of HTS, when the brick stores have been putting MU on sale the last couple of times, could have gotten him for dirt cheap:P

Er... what? Are you stuck in a temporal typhoon or is that a typo?

(Also mate we're gonna need to reserve our stock of question marks. Might wanna limit them to one per question :P )

i dont think deadpool would be there, just like a hero shot, he would be there either. too many on both sides want to kill him cause of what he has done to them or just how bad he annoys them all

^ I like the 4" stuff way better, but lately I've been finding legends for much cheaper. It seems like the 6" stuff peg warms forever here, but I'll pick up a black cat and carnage if I find em. The new legends stuff looks great, I wish we could get swappable hands and heads in 4" scale, they did that on some of the IM2 toys.

Goldengreg 01-08-2014 02:31 AM

On ML I only have Blackheart and Iron Monger, two figs that blend well with the MU actually... My next ML target would be a BAF Modok, but I can't find one for cheap.
In Tokyo I found a Sasquatchfor 6$... bigger to be a MU, but small for a ML... I don't know wich line it's from but he's fantastic next to Vindicator and Puck.

opps...I meant 2014, and I got a few question marks on offer and wanted to use them up before they go off and start smelling.

I really do hope we get SOME of what they have promised this year at SDCC.... we will see.

At the sdcc Hasbro panel a few years ago when vonner was still there I told them that it would be nice to have different sets of hands for mu characters. Figures like
Wolverine who don't always have to have his claws out and iron man who has fists and open palms. I guess they only listened to me for the ML line.

That's too bad cuz those mash up figs have swappable parts, so did those peg warming assemblers, even GI joes have swappable heads etc. I wish MU would add some cool accessories. Yeah those new legends figs look awesome. I scratch my head with hasbro sometimes. Oh well keep the good stuff coming! Paul Rudd as ant-man, let's get that figure made!

snake5289 01-08-2014 09:45 PM

^^Let it get made and not turn out to be a complete piece of shit like the some of the current movie toys. *coughIM3andASM2cough*

wylde bil 01-09-2014 08:08 PM

Haha, that's a helluva prize... stoked! Not sure if there are many Hawkeye readers on Ark, but there should be. It's great! :)

ukmu 01-10-2014 01:08 AM

Hawkeye is my son, Blaze's favourite character. Kudos on H.E.2

Poison Shadow 01-10-2014 03:55 AM

I've started reworking my 3.75" Superhero battle display after a couple of years of neglecting it (you can still see the dust!) and this is my favorite pose so far:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...psd18c6281.jpg

I did cheat, but I like the look of it. Used hot glue to attach Spidey's hand and knee to Rhino. Got the idea because every video game boss fight against poor Rhino is the same: stand still, let him charge, jump and flip then attack.

Goldengreg 01-10-2014 04:10 AM

Great idea, I tried to do something like that with my Iron Spidey but the knee was too weak to support le weight of the fig :(
I'll try glue then!

I recommend high temp glue in a cheap low temp glue gun. That way it adheres well enough to hold action figures in such crazy poses, but detaches very easily and - so far - without damaging them at all. You can peel it right off without any real effort.

Plus you can use it to make blast effects for superheroes or muzzle flash effects for guns.
