1. Wanda 2. Vision 3. Falcon 4. Winter Soldier 5. Zemo 6. USAgent 7. Loki BAF: Currently Unknown I wouldn't expect the entire wave to be revealed too soon as Hasbro has stated that Marvel is being extremely tight-lipped in regards to potential spoilers for these new shows. Though I could see the reveals trickle out similar to how the above-mentioned Vision was shown shortly after debuting on screen. |

I have my doubts about the inclusion of Loki being accurate, if this first wave is due in May, the Loki show doesn't start until June |

I'm in the minority and it would be a pipe dream...but I hope we don't see another MCU figure for a while. Hasbro has a track record of putting out half completed MCU figures, only to re-release them FULLY COMPLETED a short time later with extra perks, paints, bells and whistles, while giving a stiff middle finger to those who got in on the original release for whatever release. It's a constant slap in the face and an almost abusive businesses tactic to the consumer, and something I'd like to see stop. There was no excuse for that BS with Red Guardian...or Black Panther, or Kilmonger, or Iron Spider, or Thanos (THREE TIMES!!!)...or....need I go on?
Let these things marinate and fully cook in the oven for a while, so they're perfect for when they finally release... |

This isn't a one way circuit; collectors actually have the ability to influence the industry via sales. I know collectors take some measure of pride in the notion that we're 'in the know', but it seems counterproductive to make excuses for manufacturers abdicating what little power we might have in influencing change. There are so many Legends koolaid drinkers (not necessarily you) that Hasbro barely needs a PR team at this juncture. |
Well said as always BM ^^

I want to give Hasbro the benefit of the doubt there...but I can't. It's a pattern that's been repeated by them far too many times that's since morphed into a sales tactic. The first release of an MCU character is something that is typically released in a wave and usually is included with a BAF part (locking in an incentive to buy in case one decides to hold out for a re-release) and when the 1.5 version re-release comes, it ALMOST ALWAYS comes as part of a set,..usually as part of a two or three pack where you are either... A. forced into a higher price point (in addition to the five to ten dollars extra that Hasbro has been tacking on to anything with a fancy meaningless branding...such as Studio 10th or Marvel 80th.) B. Scour the secondary market in hopes that there is someone offering the 1.5 edition at a fair price, which 9 times out of ten....is priced at the 2 or 3 pack's retail...or even higher. C. Play the waiting game in hopes of a clearance sale which may or may not ever come. And finally... D. Miss out on the 1.5 version altogether due to hook or crook. Don't believe me...go ahead and look up how many times these re-released, updated versions of figures you already own come in a multi-pack or exclusive set of some sort. You'll be stunned. The recent Red Guardian situation in particular shows how deliberate Hasbro is with this strategy. There were images of helmeted RG popping up online for months before a trailer ever dropped. Hasbro had the information and simply chose not to release the figure completed knowing that they had something else coming down the pike. They did the same thing with Kilmonger. That BP wave was barely in stores when suddenly the two pack with Ross was announced, with a more accurate paint job, weapons, and a MBJ headsculpt. The headsculpt would have had to have been scanned during the development of the wave itself considering how fast Hasbro announced that two pack, because those things do take time to develop and refine, yet there it was, ready to go...just not for those us who grabbed the version included in the wave because we wanted to complete Okoye. Outside of responding with our wallets and asking Hasbro to do better, there is little to much we can do because like BM said...there are a lot of kool-aid drinkers out there who are just too damn impatient to wait a few months, or to just do without altogether, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the MCU fans. It is an apples and oranges comparison I know, but there is a reason that Hot Toys figures don't release for a year or more after their announcements, and usually aren't announced until after a film has came and left theaters. One could say that it's because of the price point and high end quality...to which you have a solid case....but to that...I say that it's also because they have a reputation and a standard to maintain. They want to get it right. And at their price point, they damn sure better get it right because when your customer base is dropping 250 plus dollars a figure, they are gonna let you know when you fuck up and are gonna expect you to do something to fix it. Too often I've heard "well...what do you expect from a twenty dollar figure?" To that I simply hold up my Fox Mystique, Deadpool and Amazon exclusive Wolverine, my Sony Venom, and my Spiderverse Miles Morales (all of which were released a year or more after those films respectively hit the box office,) and I say... "for twenty dollars....This...because with a little time and better effort, it's possible." |

Damn, that’s a mic drop if I’ve ever heard one. Miles specifically is a fantastic example because the Spider-Verse figures are selling like gangbusters in my neck of the woods. Several friends of mine who don’t otherwise collect Legends were over the moon for those figures. Released substantially after the film, but popular because the demand was there. I understand wanting to have figures on shelves for release, but the delay doesn’t seem to be hurting Mandalorian’s action figures. |

The finale to WandaVision was freaking epic! I wish the Netflix shows had been this good!

We have Kevin Feige to thank for Netflix and the other shows not being everything they could have been, he left them to flounder

Maybe in the Black Widow movie David Harbour only wears his mask in that one fight scene with Tasky... then the rest of the movie he doesn't wear his mask. I guess they still could have included an alt masked head though with the original figure. It will be so strange once the movie hits and if it is really good so many people will be scrambling to find all the figs that pegwarmed for so long everywhere.

The jury's out on whether those shows are even part of the MCU in the post-Loeb era. Several actors from Luke Cage have played, or will soon play, different characters in the MCU, which (while not definitive) is evidence they don't intend them to count as the MCU anymore. Maybe Charlie Cox's rumoured appearance in Spider-Man 3 will clear things up.

I seriously question whether we'll see Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Punisher anytime soon. Aside from Jessica Jones' first season, I can't recall anyone speaking very positively of the last two seasons of JJ or either season of Iron Fist. Kate Bishop and Shang-Chi seem like avenues for Marvel to tell similar stories but with a fresh start. And before anyone asks about Kate, she's been working as a P.I. in Los Angeles in the comics in recent years. As for the Punisher, IIRC both seasons had the terrible luck of premiering around the same time of a public shooting. Obviously no one involved with the show wanted that and they delayed the premieres out of respect for the victims. But that's a pretty dark cloud to hang over any movie or tv show. |

Regardless, I can't wait to see an updated Wanda. No spoilers, I've just never been a fan of the Elizabeth Olsen face-sculpt that they used for her initial Civil War Legends figure. The photo-real re-paint for Infinity War was much appreciated, but still didn't completely hit the mark due to that underlying sculpt. |

I get what you are saying though. I can't comment on Agents of Shield with the blip thing since I quit the show after Season 4. From my understanding though, Shield's final few seasons took place before the blip. |
