I didn't take any pictures but I opened up the latest X-Men wave figures that I got in from Amazon. I got Xavier, Magneto, Cyclops and 2 of the Omega Sentinel (so I could display both looks).
Cyclops is an interesting figure. He's not bad, but he's not great. I find it odd that his arms seem to use the pegless joins (unless the pegs are just hidden under some plastic) but the pegs are visible in his legs. The ability to fire the optic blast is neat, and makes for some cool action shots. But at the end of the day, he's just another Cyclops. I always loved the Jim Lee look, anything else is just kind of there for me.

Xavier is a bit of a mixed bag. I feel like it's been said already, but his suit should have had a little more detail. I love the head sculpt. The Cerebro unit head looks awesome. Even the closed eye head is cool, although I'll most likely never display it.

Magneto looks great. I like this costume and I like that he has a wide variety of hands. Personally, I think the fists and the magnet warping hands (is that what they're called?) look the best. I'm very happy with him.

Finally, the Omega Sentinel. I like her. Honestly, I like the older look with the hair a bit more. The machine arms look very cool. I think the PoX look is very true to the source and could look really fantastic standing next to Nimrod. I do find it odd that when you raise her legs, they don't go straight out but open to an angle. It reminds me of the old pre-legend toy biz era figures where damn near every female figure legs would open very wide.

So far, this is a pretty solid wave. I'm looking forward to getting the rest, even if Jean is a let down from what I'm hearing.

I got charged for the House of X figures from Pulse, so hopefully that means they'll be on the way Monday

I don't know if anyone else saw, but Aleks on The Fwoosh says it's rumored we may or may not see Retro Spider-Man figures for Sandman and Kraven, but I haven't found a link yet. Has anyone else heard this? If this news is true, those are must-buy figures for me! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed we get a Doctor Octopus with bendable wire tentacles for 2021 or next year! Ah, well, a man can dream, right?

And after messing around with my Moira and trying to switch her with the retro Gwen Stacy body and Hellcat body I just gave up and am gonna use my Moira as MJ with Target DO Widow's belt... she does look great as MJ though... and Hellcat is just gonna be Hellcat... and since I found a Nighthawk for real cheap I might as well try for a Defenders display.

Not toy related but my Fiance and I received our 1st Covid-19 Vaccines today. Will be able to get 2nd shots the week before our wedding. In toy related news, I almost fainted at Walmart. They had House of X figures and into the Spider-verse. I didn't need any of them but good to see they are making it to store shelves. Prof X, Magneto and the Sentinel woman are very boring figures. Glad I did not order them from Dorkside.

Or they could just do an Animated Series version.

Have a feeling Rhino will be up at some point as a Retro rerelease. Maybe with those weird shoulder pads he had in the 90s.

If they do a retro Rhino figure, it needs to big a bigger body, like the SDCC Green Hulk figure, it will have to be a new sculpt body.

I had heard it too, Stu. I believe that the rumor originated from a Marvelous news post earlier in the week. Kraven & Sandy would be outstanding for me, as they’d wrap up my Sinister Six. I feel like if we get them, a Doc Ock rerelease in some form can’t be too far behind. Personally, I’m desperate for a classic Lizard, he was always my favorite Spider-Man villain.

Given the price, it's probably a 2 pack with a 6" figure and a larger figure. The only two larger than normal characters that I can think of from Endgame are Smart Hulk and Final Battle Thanos.

Maybe FB Thanos and Worthy Captain America (or "I Am Iron Man" Mark 85). Or Battle of New York Smart Hulk and the Ancient One?

Finally got around to adding the web lines to Peter B. Parker's costume. I also added some subtle touches of grey to his hair to better match the movie.

As I recall the leak is that it'll be final battle Thanos and Iron Man (possibly battle damaged). I think Thor would be more welcome than another Iron Man but we'll just have and see. Honestly, Worthy Cap would be kind of an insult since some of the online stores just restocked him.

Do you think Hulk will come in his jumpsuit with interchangeable right arm?

I haven’t been keeping up with the rumors as well as I used. Those were just off the top ideas I had. But you’re right, Final Battle Thor is needed more than those two.

Yeah, but the pack would be $75 if it contained all three of them since these redo MCU figures have been $25 a piece.

That's so nice... it makes the figure's colors pop a lot more now against the ugly brown of his coat. I have Miles and Gwen, but I'm gonna wait until Peter B goes on clearance... I would definitely try that when I get him, except I don't have steady hands when it comes to painting stuff.
