I literally do a double take every time someone mentions to Disney+ wave as the “D+ wave”. I keep thinking well least it’s not an F. I guess that’s what I get for working in a school haha.

I don’t have steady hands either. What I do is put some black acrylic paint into a small plastic cup and add a little water to it in order to thin it out. I then go over all of the web lines haphazardly with a brush. Since the web lines are inlaid, I can go over the surface with acetone to removed the excess from the red areas while leaving the paint in the web lines alone. I’ll dip one end of a q-tip in acetone and clean the excess paint off of a small area. After that I’ll wet the other end of the q-tip in plain water and immediately go over the area I just cleaned so the water can neutralize the acetone that’s left on the plastic. It’s important to keep the q-tip moving so that you’re using a clean section of the cotton. Other wise you end up smearing the paint around and have to clean it again with a clean q-tip.

It’s the exact same process I used on the FFH Spiderman a couple of years ago.

Got Jean Grey today from the HoX wave. What a disappointing figure. Too short, painted shoes bad face sculpting, bad hair sculpting. Just all around a disappointing purchase on my part. FIRESTAR is ssssooooo much better! I'll be slapping together a custom for myself. HUGE LETDOWN HASBRO!

As for the Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest, I'll do my best to watch the Marvel presentation if it isn't too early. I hope that we get a few reveals for the Classic X wave, the Retro Fantastic Four wave and the rumored single Retro Spider-Man figures. I'm sure we'll see the Disney Plus wave revealed and the pre-order links posted for figures like white Vision, Scarlet Witch, etc.

Being someone who has had COVID I'm glad you are getting the vaccine. It was a rough go of it!!

I was hoping some of my Grey hairs would turn brown but no such luck. The amazing scientists that worked night and day 7 days a week did a great job. I can't stick to walls, turn in steel or have Captain America's physique. Just want to survive the Chinese virus and get married in a month and go on our honeymoon.

Glad you recovered! My Parents and Brother had it in Jan. My future Father in law had it last April.

Finally nabbed my first Hand Ninja tonight, and I am way impressed! I had bought him for the stilts, but what a spectacular figure. I’ve been futzing around with him with my custom Colleen Wing (Deadly Origins Black Widow), and suddenly I want like ten.

Got Miles in the mail today. Unlike Peter and Gwen I had absolutely no stuck joints on this figure which was a nice relief. Overall I think this is a great representation of how he looked in the movie. Some relaxed hands would have been nice to allow for some more casual poses.

Now I just need a Hand ninja to finish the wave. So far this wave has barely actually shown up in my area so it looks like I'm going to have to be patient.
