Oh wow! I was going to paint an extra jacket and arms white for a 90's Generation X Emma, but it never occurred to me that I could use Moira's lab coat and arms for the same effect. Guess I better find myself an extra Moira! Great work!

I was waiting for Moira or I was going to pick up an arkham Harleen Quinzel because I hate having to paint that much white. With Moira's lab coat, after I put it on Emma I heated it, pulled it tight around her torso and cooled it, it's a bit shapeless otherwise

So my thoughts of all of the Spider-Verse figures I recently got:

Spider-Gwen - Damn awesome. Probably my favorite figure of the Stiltman wave that isn't Stiltman. Having alternate hands is nice and the unmasked head is simply outstanding. My only complaint is how restricted her legs are.

Miles - He's a decent figure. He has a nice range of articulation, but I don't like how he has to have the shorts and jacket on. Also not a fan of the way the neck is done as he is limited in range there. Still, he'll make a great background character.

Peter - Like Miles, he's going to be used as a background character in my display and the milk shake will add a nice touch. It's kind of dumb that Hasbro did not include a fully masked head for him since the partially masked one is utterly pointless. Articulation is quite good, though, the jacket arms are hindered.

Prowler - Sucks. Just a terrible figure all around. He'll be thrown into the eventual "To Sell" pile.

Stiltman - Except for his back piece that does not want to lock into the hole on the back, I love him. This is like the most ingenious design choice ever when it comes to his legs. The brief case full of money rocks as well and I hope we get that reused a few times more.

Fantastic! May I ask where the Beast head came from?

I really don't like the head sculpts where Hasbro tries to show a little bit of teeth. Jean Grey looks a little strange to me, but the retro Firestar head is awful. The mouth looks strange and the eyes seem really off to me. It might just be me, but the eyes seem a little cross-eyed or too close together and the collar/hair combo doesn't work very well. I thought I would prefer the retro head, but once I had it in hand, I am sticking with the head that comes on it. Am I alone?

Not too big a deal in the end because I like the figure otherwise. As long as a figure comes with one head I like, I can't really complain too much.

If I'm correct, it's a custom from an ebay seller under the user name ibmmt. I'm not sure if they're on any other forms of social media (as I don't do Twitter, Instagram, etc) They haven't posted one for sale in a while (they've been doing a lot of G.I.Joe Classified heads as of late,) but perhaps they could commission one for you if you send them a message. I'm pretty sure I have the same head myself, and I can definitely vouch for their work.

Hey Dan...how about you guys at Hasbro speed it up a bit and send us the Hellfire Club sets and Cobra Commanders we preordered last year during SDCC as opposed to telling me to save more money for whatever it is your about to drop...

Jesus, I forgot I had even ordered the Hellfire Club. Checking on Pulse, they’re saying the 29th of this month. It’s frustrating because if I had placed separate orders for the two items I bought (Hellfire Club & Vintage Collection Clones), I’d have gotten both of them back in October, based on how they fulfilled order. I really wish they had given a heads-up on the order page!

Just found Firestar at Gamestop today... I am gonna use the hair in the wind head and I always preferred neutral expression heads, but I love alternate heads since you can use them for customs or whatever. However, IMO Legends figures aren't really meant to be examined too closely at close range... they are best viewed in a group display on a shelf somewhere. It does kinda bug me though when you are displaying a team and some characters are showing their teeth with an angry expression and some have a neutral expression.
