1987olds442 My Superboy came in I think he's pretty bad ass. Just the right height. With removable Superman DNA Patches.

My wife snagged me YJ Aqualad for super-cheap for an early birthday gift, and now we've resolved to get the rest of the (meager) YJ 6" offerings, since most of them are on Amazon for not-too-ridiculous prices.

Question: has anyone bought the Kid Flash figure? I read he was cancelled, but then Amazon has him for sale, but with a stock photo of the 3 3/4" Wally on the base. But there's photos online, and the reviews on Amazon are clearly for the six-inch one (I have the 3 3/4", so I know there's not a mistake there).

Also really lamenting that the Superboy/Miss Martain two-pack didn't make the grade. If I had known at the time that I would be getting these figures down the line, I would have supported it (and bought a Robin back when they were clogging shelves, instead of the $40+ aftermarket he runs now).

Not sure which Kid Flash your referring too but i have a DCUC Kid Flash in my Collection. Miss Martian is next on my Custom List.

The Young Justice 6-inch one. We own the DCUC Kid Flash.

Incidentally, what did you use for the custom Cassie?

1987olds442 01-17-2014 11:39 AM

That is the DC Direct Cassie next to the Conner from the same Teen Titans DCD line :)

Boy Blunder 01-17-2014 01:51 PM

Ahhh... worth getting? We only have one DC Direct figure (the Teen Titans Deathstroke), and he's... eh.

I didn't buy it but I've seen it first hand. The Kid Flash fig was in the same case as Batman. The 6" one comes with that yellow and red plastic piece to make it seem like he's running super fast through the street.

Ive had her for years now. I think she is a great fig for my Teen Titans Line. She the perfect size and decent articulation.

CMIII 01-20-2014 11:54 AM

I saw Kid Flash at Walmart a few times in 3 3/4

I bought the 6" YJ Kid Flash and Batman figures from BBTS a couple of years ago so they did make it to a few online retailers. I'd say figure you're looking at on Amazon is indeed for the 6" figure. Mattel probably made a mistake and used a 2-up of the 3.75" figure with the 6" figure's base.

Dr Kain 01-21-2014 10:47 PM

So I saw those brand new "better than before" 4 inch figures today and they are crap. I just don't understand how Mattel cannot even give these guys the same amount of articulation as GI Joe has. Not to mention the Batman sculpt was butt ass ugly. Of course, nothing compares to the garbage of those kiddie 6inch toys TRU had. My god they are even worse.

Tiberius 01-22-2014 04:19 AM

Multiverse figures? Yea... They are 11.99 at my Target. Laughable. I guess Barbie is such a big seller [and board games] that Mattel can fuck up DC toys so bad and still make a profit. Seriously, no bicep swivle? NOT EVEN ELBOW ROTATION? Come the fuck on.

I'm pissed because I wanted them to be good. I guess I'll get those Injustice figures.

I did. Got him from Amazon, in fact, and it is indeed the 6" figure. He's alright. Way too bulky (like Robin) to be accurate to the show, but it's cheaper than the DCUC Kid Flash plus you get the base. He's shorter than Artemis though.

I like that he came with optional goggles, but they looked too goofy. I immediately cut them up and glued them to his forehead to match the show a little more closely.

Hello to all... So, I just recently finished enclosing my garage in order to make it into a "Collecting Room". I'd like to share some pics with you of the before and after process of putting everything where it belongs. Most of the stuff is DC but just ignore the other stuff that's not. Oh, and I read another thread that talked about how some girlfriends and wives or partners (whatever your case may be) were not into or did not like their better halves’ collecting hobby. Well, in my case my wife, my two sons and I are collectors and you'll see some of their stuff in the following pics. During the process, I found a lot of cool stuff that I didn’t even remember that I owned... So enjoy!

Thank you! Oh, didn't I say don't pay attention to the other stuff? LOL... Believe me, it could've been worse but I don't think I left enough space for my wife to put the rest of her posters on the walls because she's got enough stuff to fill up all four walls my friend...

My god dude. I am so sorry. Hopefully her fad of loving it dies. Next time Tinkerbell is around, hopefully Dracula remembers to use a condom.
