Fixed it. Now I have to fixed my X-Display after the Destructo-cat rolled through

Web Man is a total pass for me. Good to know that Hasbro will still milk a figure for as many repaints as possible.

The Shang-Chi wave leaked. BAF is Mister Hyde.

If this is real though I'll probably pass. None of the figures really interest me and while Mr. Hyde's a good choice for a BAF, totally passable for a wave where it's a total pass for me. I still feel like it's an April Fools reveal though. and that photo of Mephisto for a Blackheart wave...I'm not sure if that was your original or if you were just sharing it, but that's some excellent photoshopping skills, they clearly put a lot of work in to make it seem legit, were it not for the actual figure choices. |
I never take any news on April 1st seriously. I hate April Fool's Day and I've never liked it. That said, I was surprisingly interested in Web-Man. Since this was one of the three Retro Spider-Man figure leaks from a few weeks back, it looks like we'll be seeing the listed Retro Black Costume Spider-Man and Retro Hobgoblin soon enough. Maybe for the live-stream next Friday? I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Retro releases of classic Sandman, classic Lizard, classic Rhino, classic Shocker and a Doctor Octopus with bendable wire tentacles for 2021 or next year.
Since we're getting closer to the Hasbro live-stream next week, I'm curious to see how much they reveal and what other surprises they have in store for Marvel Legends collectors. I'm also curious when we will see first looks at any of the figures from the Shang-Chi, Classic X and Retro Fantastic Four waves, especially for the latter since Retro Doctor Doom was released nearly a year before the Retro F.F. wave is slated for release. More Fantastic Four villain figures are a must, as I'm hoping to see at least Mole Man made. Of course, I'd also love more Retro Uncanny X-Men figures that aren't Target exclusives and have new accessories and head sculpts, like a smiling blue furry Beast, a new Jim Lee era/'90s Cyclops without the bomber jacket with a new head sculpt and an optic blast accessory, a sold-separately Jim Lee era/'90s Jean Grey, and a smiling Jim Lee era Jubilee with a smiling head sculpt and multi-colored fireworks blasts accessories. I hope you all are doing well and have a wonderful day. Stay safe, everyone. |
While easy to dismiss due to the holiday circumstances, the Shang Chi wave looks pretty legit. Might pick up the girl since she comes with a ton of hands (could really use some for my MCU Colleen Wing) and Death Dealer might make a good generic ninja type army builder, but otherwise...woof. It's generating Eternals levels of interest and excitement within me.

Edit: anyone else think he headsculpt looks like a roided out Lucky Charms leprechaun? I was sorta picturing something more in-line with this: https://i.annihil.us/u/prod/marvel/i...7995/clean.jpg |
All the April Fool's Day hate is pretty funny.
If the Shang-Chi line is legit, I'm all over it. However, I'm hoping for a head without that stupid bowler...Zabo's mop of hair is far more iconic IMO than is the recent popularity of the bowler. But maybe the wave is another Reddit social experiment/hoax like Elden Ring... ;) |

Here is my offering to the Hasbro gods. Whenever I make a custom, there is about a 75% chance that Hasbro will announce the character shortly. You're welcome everyone who wants a Shadowcat. It's not entirely accurate, but I didn't have to paint anything. https://i.postimg.cc/PrYd6q5P/IMG-5413.jpg Finally settled on a head for Selene and did some little touchups. https://i.postimg.cc/0yvPhqzZ/IMG-5414.jpg I don't follow the star war, so I know nothing about this character. I found it cheap and after a partial repaint, it should make a decent Blaquesmith. https://i.postimg.cc/mgSBs6M4/IMG-5415.jpg |

C'mon! I don't want a single figure in that wave, but I'd buy Mr. Hyde.

Huh. We can actually get a nice little Daredevil Rogues Gallery going on. We've got Kingpin, Bullseye, Elektra, Mr. Hyde, Stilt-Man, Purple Man, Nuke, Typhoid Mary and a couple of Hand Ninjas. You can even throw in Punisher and Mysterio if you really want to.

Then I started filtering through modern T-Bolt images of him and realized, in typical slightly-askew-don't-know-much-about-the-books 'corporate project-manager' fashion, some genius opted for a more contemporary version of Zabo not realizing many fans might prefer 'mop-head' simply for the iconic batshit factor... Upon the realization that they came so very close to delivering, but fucked up an ever so slight, but also somewhat important detail, that's when I became convinced it was real. "Hasbro-styliè!" (said in a Jamaican patois) |

That Shadowcat looks great, good eye using Maz for a Blaquesmith. As far as Excalibur, I would really like them to include Amanda Sefton in her Daytripper costume |
