The team addressed the Omega Sentinel’s inaccurate alternate head in one of the interviews. What they said was that they didn’t know much about the character, and that they based the alternate head on a quick Google search. Glad to see they’re doing their research.

I saw a few people mention Dan Who, I'll have to check his stuff out. I would really like to know how these guys got the interviews. I would love to talk to them on my radio show, but I don't have the same audience that these YouTube guys have. |

Why do they even pretend to know what they are talking about? I assume things like this are why Marvel keeps sending them boxes of comics. |

Also, I did a quick google search of the Marvel Legends team. How come they don't look the same in photos? Do they put the videos through some sort of image filter before they broadcast? Danyun, Ryan Ting, and Dwight Stall. |

Well, the addition of a walking stick for Hyde is another hallmark of the T-bolts version. Its presence also naturally denotes a clasped hand to hold it. I'd prefer two fists, but it isn't in the cards. I can also assume he'll have a bow tie. While not ideal (JRJR's Hyde is my iconic version), I'm happy to have the character in my collection even if it will be largely recycled from Fixit.
It's passing strange that this wave seems to be being released in a stealthy manner. Especially considering the dearth of reveals lamented by some last week... Edit: maybe additional fists in an accessories pack along with Namor/Wonder Man/Cap painted fists from the mid-large Guardsman set? Provided they get the approval they mentioned... |

They'd track small anyway. After looking at pics of the BAF, it does appear that the arms and shoulders are larger than Kingpin's, similar to Fixit. Seeing it assembled I'm not totally unhappy. However, the meth-head/eyes made sillier and accentuated by the tight bowler hat and lack of fists make this a significant miss. Hyde has always been an important villain for me since Spidey slapped him and Cobra around in an Amazing Spider-Man book illustrated by JRJR back in the 80s. Reading the book as a kid cemented a fandom of Hyde that has endured to this day. Even his later appearance in the Avengers:Under Siege story arc established the character as scary and intimidating even to other heavy-hitting villains. I've anticipated for years getting this fig, wanting to recapture in pics elements of how I perceived the fight with him Cobra and Spidey as a kid. However, THIS Hyde looks more like he should be tweaking in an alley, paranoid, scratching/picking his skin, and offering to turn uncomfortable and illicit favors for small amounts of money to get him his next fix... That head has got to get replaced. It's not just the bowler... |

@usernamedustin
Yeah, saw that exact photo before posting my last comments. But, thanks anyway. That head is not at all to my liking... |

I agree...the head is not what i woulda pictured. |
4/25 street date, leaks and photos in stores and they still haven't officially revealed the full wave. I get they can't control leaks, I feel bad for the team to be honest, at this point they're probably more than ready to show it all officially and get it out there for preorder, but they have to go by what the bigwigs plans are. Lose/lose situation.

I can totally believe they had no idea who Omega Sentinel is given her obscurity. Especially since the emphasis was clearly on her current Powers of X design where she's completely race-neutral. Like someone above said, I would say it's on the Hasbro team but also on Marvel for not providing better references.

It just makes me angry again about all the pandering they do during the livestreams and how little they know about the Marvel Universe. It is their entire job. That's it. Theoretically these guys can get paid to read comics as source-material research. So lame that this is the best they can do. |
