Apparently Dorkside of solids of Deathstrike and some other figure (i can't recall because I didn't order it) in before the case/sets. That's actually hopeful for me. Given I only ordered Deathstrike I expected I'd have to wait a while but not if they've got solid cases of her. I'm salivating over my email in anticipation now.

With 4 of 10 Infinity Saga sets revealed I am curious what else everyone thinks we are going to get. I know 3 of the 6 remaining ones are heavily rumored already but that still leaves 3 sets with one rumored to be Endgame based, another Ragnorok based and the last completely unknown so far.

When it comes to Endgame figures, if its a single figure I am guessing it is Captain Marvel. She seems to be the biggest name missing so far. Or maybe another version of the Hulk? I know a lot of people mention War Machine too, though this line is already very Iron Man and Thor franchise heavy. If it is a multi pack I would love it to be based on the girl power moment. Captain Marvel would be a must, a 2014 Gamora with detachable armor bits, and maybe Mantis or Okoye as a third for those who didn't get the BAFs.

The only other Thor:Ragnorok figures I would really want are Topaz and Meek. The celestial styled guards or Saakaran troops would make great army builders though. I can't really think of who else from this movie they would make especially if the Sutur rumor is true already.

As for the complete unknown I feel think the line has a lot of good choices. Too many perhaps. With the heavy Iron Man and Thor focus I really hope its from one of the other franchises. My first two desires would of course be AoU Wanda or The Ancient One (DS). But really the list of potential choices is long. The first Cap movie could bring us Howard Stark or DumDum. Doctor Strange could get us Wong or Kaecellious. Ant-man 2 could get of 1970s Ant-man and Wasp or Quantum Realm Janet. AoU could also give us Strucker. I almost wish we could have gotten a few more sets as I don't collect much from the Iron Man and Thor movies.

I doubt we'd get him in the Infinity Saga subline but I hope we eventually get a figure of Happy. I know he's just a supporting civilian character but he's been on my MCU wants list and it would feel right to get Jon Favreau in there since he sorta started the whole thing.

^ He might come in the MCU Spidey line IMO... he was pretty important in Far From Home... they might go back and do a Far From Home 2 pack one day.

For Sets 2, 8, and 9, I'm not sure if the letter preceding the string of Xs (which indicates the number of figures in each set) is randomly assigned or if it's an indication of who the character might be.

For Set 9, taking into account the first letters in HXXXXX & MXXXXX, I would guess Happy and Mandarin (Aldrich Killian version). Ignoring those first letters, I would still guess Killian as well as Tony from when he was testing the Mark 42 in his work shop. Maybe the Silver Centurion armor.

For Set 8, again assuming the code CXXXXX & RXXXXX gives a hint to the characters, I'm guessing 5 Years Later versions of Captain Marvel and Rocket.

For Set 2 with its code of CXXXXXX, I'm guessing some version of Captain America since he's the only one of the big three Avengers who doesn't have a figure on this list. I can only think of two possibilities from Endgame. 1. His TWS stealth suit that he worn when the Avengers confronted and killed Thanos in 2018. 2. Some version of his suit from the end of the movie, either a clean version from before Hulk's snap or a dirty version with battle damage and a broken shield.

Ignoring the CXXXXX & RXXXXX codes for the sets, I would still pick those three characters. Although I would also consider a 5 Years Later Black Widow for Set 2.

I personally don't have a single want for more figures from Iron Man 3. I will probably be sticking with just my Quicksilver pre-order from this series. Lots of well done figures (like final battle Thor and Odin) but most aren't necessities for me.

Wow, jwyss234! Thank you for sharing this! While I don't buy many movie figures, I might cave on Surtur because that's a pretty comic-y design. I'd want him to be pretty big however. If he were the size of the Civil War BAF Ant-Man (Giant Man), I'd be happy. What's everyone else's take?

That is good news especially on BOTBG! I saw they got solids of a couple of figures and was hoping since Deathstrike was one of them I might get my single figure sooner than anticipated, but still waiting...and that's okay if not. It's definitely wanted but I can wait, I expected to have to anyways since it's not a case or set.

I wonder if they'll also get the Build-A-Bear wave in early. Hoping for solids of Ultron for sure!

Yeah, I'm pretty excited too Nash! I'd say you shouldn't be waiting too long for Deathstrike. Although, I did order pretty immediately as the preorder went up. I remember way back when on this thread opining on an all-villain wave with some heads. Many thought it wouldn't happen, I wasn't even sure. In any event, the day has finally arrived and I'm all-in on celebrating its arrival. I may not even cancel my "safety" order with BBTS, as I want more all-villain waves and only decent support will ensure that result.

I'm also looking forward to the Iron Man wave hoping it will also ship earlier than anticipated.

I’m looking forward to the Iron Man/Build a Bear wave. I didn’t pre-order the Hologram armor Iron Man or Iron Heart. So I’ll need to track down the parts they come with. At first I wasn’t planning on getting the BAF, but I recently decided that I wanted to build out the Winter Guard team, so...yeah haha.

Endgame Captain Marvel with a better Rescue.

Cool set, disappointed personally because while I love that Captain Marvel, I have no need for another Rescue. Would’ve preferred Rocket or Nebula, but I’ve been trying to cut back anyway, so this is good.

Man they finally give us Carol but they stick her in a two pack. I do have to say. That rescue is miles better than the single release we got.

It’s inarguably a better figure, just not one I need. It’s another frustrating example of “why didn’t you just do that in the first place?” which has become sort of a pattern with these anniversary releases. In some cases I’ll grant that it’s the constraints of working off concept art, but I don’t think that holds up in this instance.

Edit: the more I look at the Captain Marvel figure, I don’t dig it. The Brie Larson likeness still isn’t there, and is it me or is the color palette too bright relative to the costume in the film (or other figures)?

Target Exclusive, Happy with the Mark 21 armor, which I cannot even remember from promo materials. Odd choice, was hoping for the Mark 42.
