I suppose they believe it's clever marketing. However it feels a little ham-fisted, or, worse, it comes off as taunting and an insult to the intelligence.

I send emails to elicite responses all the time, it's part of the job. However, I also respect the line between 'tantalizing' and 'turn-off'.

Today I got my Dormammu, White Vision, and Scarlet Witch from Dorkside!

I really enjoy all three of them. My husband and I both enjoyed the old Spider-woman cartoon, particularly the funny way they pronounce Dormammu (Door-mom-moo, lol). So he has joined our display next to Jessica.

The White Vision is nice. I actually like the way his face came out. It looks better in white than the red version from the Infinity War two pack.

I am over the moon with the Scarlet Witch figure! The face printing is strong. The costume is just as stunning in figure form as in live action. I even kind of like its brighter red color. In the show its definitely darker. It is so great to have a MCU version that isn't a corset and jacket combo. She finally looks like a magical comic book superhero and I love it! I hope a second one isn't going to be too hard to track down as I already have a perfect cape and hood to custom her cloaked version.

I really hope we see a couple of Disney+ two packs this year or next like we do with the movies. Two waves for 4 shows just isn't enough to cover all the characters I am interested in.

My Hellfire Club set just arrived, it's really cool visually. Is it just me or my set or do the female figures legs seem excessively gummy

Yes...mine were gummy as well. I needed stands for them to display.

I got mine just a little while back, and yeah mine felt extra gummy too. Thankfully I have manage so far to keep them upright just by leaning them up against a step or block that I use in my display. But I'll be honest between the legs and the heels it was a trying set up.

So Amazon just canceled my preorders of Arcade and The Hood as well just now. I'm down to Red Skull and Doom from my day 1 preorder of the entire wave.

Looks like its BBTS and Dorkside for me in a bit.

I don't know if anyone else had this experience, but when I tried to swap heads on the Black Queen, the hair piece on the Jean head just popped off like it wasn't glued down at all, I took it as a sign that I should use it to finish up my Sage custom

Veronica, what paints, brushes, and sealers do you use?

Paints I mostly use Reaper Master Series, they can also be thinned to use in an airbrush. Sealers I used Matte, Gloss or Satin Varnish from Vallejo, I have a collection of brushes that I've picked up from various places like Target, Walmart, Michael's and I even have one I picked up at a beauty supply that was for acrylic nails

Seriously great job! I too used the Jean head for a Sage/Tessa custom. I went for a Hellfire Tessa though I did add the face tattoos.

Add me to the list. I pre-ordered as soon as they went up and Amazon cancelled Deathstrike and Dormammu a few days ago. I just got the notice that they cancelled Arcade today. I wonder when I will get the cancellation notice for the Red Skull. I guess I'm not using Amazon for pre-orders anymore.

I just used the hair, the head is actually from hipster Spider Woman of Burnside. I have other plans for the Jean head.

Yeah. At this point I'm only going to preorder GI Joes on Amazon just on the off chance they might fulfill it. Nevertheless, I'll just continue to use Pulse as long as they have several figures I can order at one time to make up for the loss of free shipping.

Ordered a 2nd Hellfire Club set. Did a Norman Osborn and Tony Stark Black and White Bishops. Wanted something a little different for the Princesses. Went with Jessica Jones and Silk from Fan Vote. Used old GI Joe stands for the ladies to help them stay up.
I like how everything turned out. Planning on using Selene head to make a Baroness.
2nd pic is a kitbash that will end up on the Joe shelf. Cobra Merc using BW Taskmaster and Civil War Crossbones Head and Female Dreadnok or Merc.

Any time I've gone with them in the last 4 years, Amazon has shit the bed for me on pre-orders, except when it was one of their own exclusives. Every. Time. Unless it's listed as "in stock" I don't even bother with them.

Just finished doing an upgrade to my Vision utilizing the torso of an MMA action figure. It added some bulk & size to him. Also added a fabric wired cape & alternate open hands as well.

I never preordered figures from Amazon until these last few months since I let my Pulse Premium expire. Did not know this was a regular occurrence.

It wasn't a regular occurrence for me. This is the first time I've ever had a problem like this with Marvel Legends. Though I do notice that they've done some changes to their website's order options. I can't view my 'open' orders and preorders by themselves anymore.

I still think this is a case where their automated systems are doing something nutty since I have preorders from before and after that are fine. Hell, I've had game preorders with them that have been on order for at least 3 years now (Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, etc).

I've never had problem with Amazon pre-orders, this Villians wave is the first time Amazon canceled my pre-order. I'm hoping this is a one-time fluke, and not a consistent happening like Walmart and Target.
