The Shield agents I want are Contessa, Gabe, Dum Dum, Jimmy Woo, Quake, Clay, and a battle damaged Fury LMD (which could amount to a head).

Edit: I guess they could all technically be a pack-in head, but I'd prefer different builds, especially for Dum Dum.

Thor Laserpunch 05-28-2021 01:38 PM

I was also thinking Psi-Borg/Super Agents, GW Bridge, and Sitwell. This is as likely to happen as Hulk fans finally getting their due. It's been like 10+ years and aside from the obligatory nine repaints of the 80th fig, I'm hard pressed to think of any Hulk-related characters we have outside of Leader and Xemnu.

Boogieman4hire 05-28-2021 02:04 PM

That show was so fun with the obscure characters and the Bar with No Name. It's no coincidence in my mind that MODOK, Arcade, and the A.I.M. Scientist Supreme were/are getting figures this year. I hope that Melter might get that push now. The guy is an original Master of Evil after all and an Iron Man villain. Plus no one leaves Tony Stark naked and dripping like Melter.Maybe there can be a second Iron Man series with him and Madame Masque. Also seeing both Angar AND Poundcakes brought out my deep longing again for Screaming Mimi.

StuartGreen2019 05-28-2021 02:16 PM

@Ultra Seven - Yeah, I'd love a new Captain America, but like I said before, my #1 Cap I want made is a John Byrne version of Captain America: classic "scaly" chainmail look, brighter suit colors, alternate Steve Rogers civilian head and an alternate smiling Cap head, and accessories of his triangular and round shields with two straps inside each shield like Toy Biz's Marvel Legends Cap figures had. And if we got a George Perez version of Beast, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Classic Miss Marvel would also be welcome too, but so would classic Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel, especially after her "WandaVision" debut and her role in the upcoming M.C.U. film 'The Marvels'.

@TheBlueMarvel - I'd love a brown jumpsuit Pantheon era figure of Professor Hulk too, but I would love it if Hasbro made it a Deluxe release. I'm so tired of Hulk figures being Build-A-Figure characters most of the time. It'd be nice to have a new SOLD SEPARATELY figure of the Hulk for a change, please, Hasbro. Since Ant-Man, Hulk, Spider-Man and Thor have their 60th anniversaries next year, I'm hopeful we'll see some kind of Hulk figures for 2022. My dream Marvel Legends Hulk wave would be 1st Appearance Gray Hulk, classic lab coat Dr. Bruce Banner with a calm head wearing glasses and alternate angry head with green eyes for "Hulk out" effect, classic Jack Kirby era purple trunks Green Hulk (from "The Avengers" #1), Tyrannus, Ringmaster with swirling hypnotic effect accessory for his hat, Jarella, orange-and-black costume Leader with "Jiffy Pop" giant brain head sculpt and a Build-A-Figure of classic Abomination.

Deluxe figures could be a classic green Savage Hulk with an alternate Immortal Hulk head (or vice-versa), Gray Hulk with torn blue pants and a Todd MacFarlane art-based head sculpt, and brown jumpsuit Professor Hulk. As others have said, a U-Foes boxed set would be welcome too (though hopefully not as a S.D.C.C. exclusive). Heck, I'd even take two-packs like Bruce Banner with any version of Hulk, General "Thunderbolt" Ross with Red Hulk, Betty Ross with Harpy and Rick Jones with A-Bomb as examples.

I'm also hopeful we'll see some kind of 30th anniversary "X-Men: The Animated Series" and 20th anniversary 'Spider-Man: The Movie' Marvel Legends figures for 2022, but time will tell.

And as a parting note to Hasbro, I hope we'll see some more Retro Fantastic Four and Retro Spider-Man reveals in July for their next big month of reveals. A fully flamed-on Human Torch without translucent paint, a fully-visible Invisible Woman, a completely-invisible Invisible Woman, classic Mole Man, Crystal, the Wizard, Aunt May Parker, a "Death of Captain Stacy" era green-and-orange suit Doctor Octopus with bendable wire tentacles, classic Sandman, classic Lizard, classic Rhino, first appearance clothes Mary Jane Watson, classic Shocker with sculpted lines on his padded costume and new vibro-shock blast accessories, purple-and-blue suit Boomerang, classic Kaine and a classic Silver Age/mid-60s/John Romita Sr. version of Spider-Man with the classic spider chest emblem with the legs out to the sides, an alternate Romita Sr. art-based Peter Parker head sculpt without glasses, a "wavy-lines" spider-sense accessory, and alternate open hands for "wall-crawling" poses would all be very much appreciated in 2021, 2022 or whenever. New Retro X-Men figures like Jim Lee era Blue Team and Gold Team versions of Cyclops with a new optic blast with the "Love Triangle" suit colors and without the bomber jacket, Jubilee with an alternate smiling head and new multi-colored fireworks blasts accessories, Jean Grey with telekinetic effect accessories, and an in-scale/sold-separately Colossus with better paint on his metallic skin would all be very much appreciated.

I hope you all are having a great day and have a wonderful weekend. Stay safe, everyone.

TheBlueMarvel 05-28-2021 02:17 PM

@Laserpunch Lol Texas Twister and the like...

Hellz yeah on GW! And, yes, we Hulk fans are well overdue. I've called many times for Torgo, Dark Crawler, and Amphibian aka the Hulk Hunters for a long while along with the U-Foes, Mad Man, and Zzzax. Give me a Bereet and Ba't'll and some Klklk to army build and I'd be pretty golden.

@Stuart

I like your Hulk ideas and agree deluxe rather than BAF might be a better route.

StuartGreen2019 05-28-2021 02:21 PM

I agree with @TheBlueMarvel, Zzzax would be cool. The U-Foes would be cool. Bi-Beast would be cool. Heck, ANY Marvel Legends Hulk figures at this point would be cool. I'm surprised that the Hulk hasn't had a turn in a long while. Granted, there's no solo Hulk film or animated series to hype up, but I'd still love to see the Hulk get a turn at a new Marvel Legends wave. The same goes for Captain America, Daredevil and Ghost Rider too.

EDIT: I'm glad you like my ideas, TheBlueMarvel. I just hope Hasbro does too. And yes, I'd much prefer a Deluxe Hulk figure than a Build-A-Figure. There are so many variants of the Hulk left to be made into great Marvel Legends figures and not all of the figures for Hulk have to be Build-A-Figures.

TheBlueMarvel 05-28-2021 02:25 PM

I have the proto Bi-Beast, so I'm good on him...

This seems like one of those amazing seldom heard of bootleggy things people occasionally mention. I'm assuming these are like test shots that a customizer has done up?

I've explained the story before, but I joined this site years ago specifically to find the Bi-Beast proto after its cancellation was announced. I'd missed on a couple of Ebay auctions being out bid 2-3 times, then, never saw it again. I explained as much on a thread here and Byrnes, an exceedingly cool Arker, hit me up with a PM and linked an Ebay auction I'd somehow overlooked. It was in rough shape, as the original owner applied a custom paint that was pretty poor as was some of the light customizing they had performed - no offense to him or her. Even in the shape it was in, I was ecstatic to have the only real holy grail I've had as a collector (there were others, but I have them now and they were much easier to acquire than this initial one). I sent the semi-butchered proto to Anthony's Customs (who was pretty cool to me and a stand-up guy, despite the general opinion of him here) and he repaired the paint and added some details to make it look like my preferred look for classic Bi-Beast.

I mostly leave it in state and have only snapped a handful of pics of it:

I'd, no doubt, buy a new one, but this one will always be the grail that joining Toyark made possible...There's a Red King proto from the same period that I'd like to own, but I've only ever seen an auction for it on one occasion.

Thor Laserpunch 05-28-2021 04:30 PM

Ok, that explains the google search results talking about this very thing then! Awesome awesome piece. The magic of the internet is the only thing I believe in any more.

Wow..thats a great story!! And it's a great figure!!
I have the smaller one from the video game but I would love to get a new bigger version. I'd welcome any Hulk villans in the Legends line any time!!

TheBlueMarvel 05-28-2021 04:43 PM

@Laserpunch

Lol the internet can be a treasure chest, or an utter disaster depending on the the skill and discernment of the user.

Thanks man, I'm very grateful to have nabbed this!

@Starlord67

Thanks dude, nice things happen on the Ark too! LOL Thanks for celebrating with me!

EDIT: I'd certainly welcome a new Bi-Beast as I'm a significant Hulk fan.

Seeing photo reviews of Lady Deathstroke and hoo boy I'm loving how she looks with the pinless joints.

I don't know what's more disturbing: the fact that this was in the the top 20 image results or the fact it was ostensibly fantasized by a woman. Or the fact I created a pinterest account to download the picture.

@TBM I catfished a wife with this thing and will gladly do it again if this relationship doesn't work out so I know the true value of internetting. It's a beautiful thing.

hasbroherofan 05-28-2021 05:21 PM

Nothing disturbing there. Deathstroke's hot.

I would love a Texas Twister figure. Hell, the entire Texas Rangers would be awesome, especially Phantom Rider & Banshee. It won’t happen, but I think a Marvel Legends horse/ pegasus could get a lot of mileage.

The horsey for sure but I feel safe saying the rest of that will never come to pass unless happenings in the comics bring those characters to the forefront... and even then, look how long it took to get a (terrible) Hood figure.

If a horse in Legends happens it'll most likely be for a more popular character like Valkyrie or Black Knight, I think. Plus if they do one the moulds would be fairly easy to recycle in the future.

I would love all of those as along as they are based on Jim Steranko's run on SHIELD. I dislike everything done with SHIELD in MCU and Agents of SHIELD. Give us Sharon Carter on BW Movie body with working gun holsters.

Jim Sternako-specific headsculpts & bodies for those characters would be excellent. His work on SHIELD has got to rate as one of my favorite comics runs ever, if not strictly on merit of the art.
