On one hand, it's Wyngarde who is a must for the Hellfire club set, and I'm more than excited for that.

On the other hand, his suit has been colored to match more recent appearances of the character rather than the classic purple lylac suit with blue ascot from the original Dark Phoenix saga from which he's best known, and that's a bit of a bummer.

I do appreciate the OG Mastermind head, however, and I hope we'll get a body to go with it someday.

That's the true fan now. It annoys the modern super-googlite in the wild when you talk about shit they can't easily look up....I jus do it to F with them because I'm an ass like that...then they don't invite me to see the MCU flicks that I don't care about anyway, so it all works out in the wash.

Man, that’s slightly disappointing. The reveal’s a clearer look at a figure that we already knew about. Seeing him close up really does make me want to reiterate: why this variant?

I feel like Fang would’ve been a better choice for a Wolverine variant, if they really had to include one at all (which, given how some of the last few Wolverines peg-warmed, I’d argue isn’t really necessary).

I haven't seen a Wolverine peg warm in NOVA, though I did pass on HOX and sell off Weapon X. The new figure is boring. Nothing I need in my collection. Thanks Hasbro for saving me some $. The last ML that collected dust in our area was Captain Marvel wave. I bought 3 figures, 2 of which were on clearance that I used for Kitbashes. I have seen Shang-Chi figures moving slow but the movie is not out.

If Hasbro was going to release a shirtless Wolverine, they should have done the New X-Men costume. I've been wanting that one for a while.

While I know that characters like Wolvie, Iron Man, Snake Eyes, Vader, blah blah blah have to be included in nearly every figure wave these days, I really kinda miss the days when even the most iconic characters might be revisited 4-5 times at most during the entire lifespan of a line.


All of that aside, I am happy with the two previous reveals, here's to hoping more empty spaces are filled on my classic X-Men shelves.

Also bringing up pegwarmers with Wolverine, it's important to keep in mind he's double packed anyway.

Yeah, I think that being double-packed works against figures like AOA Wolverine, which piled up something fierce.
