Well this basically confirms that the game figure listed in the leaked Spidey wave for later this year will be standard Miles.

One day... One day we'll get Weapon Hex, Ghost Panther and Arachknight.

And Coldblood.

Hopefully they do an updated PS4 Peter Parker Spidey, cuz the last one was kinda lazy

Found a She-Hulk at Gamestop... didn't plan on getting it, but the calm facesculpt is so good that I ended up buying it. If it didn't have the calm face I don't think I would have got it.

Is berry blue lemonade Miles the news this week or should we be expecting more? Has anyone heard anything?

While I'm not feeling the new blue raspberry Miles, the mold looks cool. I always really liked the teen buck we got for Miles, Ultimate Spidey and the new Nova. I was hoping they'd make a comic style Bucky from that mold. Maybe one day. We really need a good WWII Bucky.

The hands would be great for an Electro…I think that’s why Hasbro does weird figures like this.

Hasbro saving me more $. They can keep Blue Berry Miles. Zero interest in the character. Guess they got a deal on blue translucent plastic resin from Iron Man.

Nah, they're doing it because they'll almost certainly double dip on the new mould by doing a redeco in standard colors later in the year. Especially since the leak for the second Spider-Man wave includes a Gamerverse figure.

Separately, I think the hands would naturally be too small for Electro.

Interestingly, tatooinesandworm reported on The Fwoosh that the listings for upcoming Retro Spider-Man figures for Hobgoblin, Shocker and Black Costume Spider-Man were taken down in April or so, yet the listing for Sandman remains. The figures have either been pushed back, cancelled, changed to be store and/or Fan Channel exclusives, or part of the next Retro Spider-Man wave. In regards to that, Tatooinesandworm also said that the current Retro Spider-Man Wave 2 is apparently the January 2022 wave and that the current line-up listed (Uncle Ben, Chameleon, Kraven, Jack O'Lantern, Carnage and F.F. Spider-Man, respectively) may not be the final line-up. That may explain why we haven't seen any of the rumored Retro Spider-Man releases aside from Webman this year.

Does Hasbro have a hatred of this guy? New head sculpt & feet on Sunfire buck, extra hands & alternate head sculpt...done! Don't need endless umpteenth versions of GG, HG, Kraven, Doc Ock, Scorpion, etc.

I've thought that's really weird too. The guy is so perfect for reused tooling, it's ridiculous. Just a new head and feet, call it a day.

You basically just answered your own question there. Those other characters have been made over him because they're all significantly more popular. There are probably hundreds of characters in Tarantula's general sphere of popularity, so I doubt it's personal.

This right here is what I wanted. Glad I held out on the Marvel Select. The Sandman wave never really hit my city so it's nice to now have my Sandman. It is weird though that the damaged face is so calm while the normal head is the one crapping thunder. Shouldn't it be the other way around? I'd be pissed if Spiderman damaged my head.

Nice Sandman. I don't think the line should ever become too redo focused but when the character was previously only ever a BAF I'll totally make an exception. Now please do a deluxe Rhino Hasbro.

New arms and heads; that Netflix Cage body is getting some significant millage. First Hydro-Man, now Sandman, I guess a new head and vest could serve as an Ox in future Spidey lines.

I'd appreciate if they could run through these revisits with more rapidity, so that we can get beyond the staples. It's the same as watching the origin of Spider Man over and over again in film; the horse doesn't get any deader in subsequent beatings. On that note: I watched Andrew Garfield's Amazing Spider Man over the weekend for the first time. I know a couple of people have said as much here, but he did a pretty damn good job as Peter. I was pleasantly surprised.
