That's actually a good way to say it because it also expresses a problem with that head, it's too emotionless. You would expect some kind of expression on a head which is made for an action pose, even a smug smirk of "you didn't hurt me at all" attitude would've elevated the quality of that head. At least it's just a fun bonus option and not the only head included.

I'm now more hyped for that Excalibur set than I initially was. I'm beggin for a Meggan. If the set includes Nightcrawler which I'm sure it will I hope he at least gets smoke effects this time.

I'm X-cited too. This is exactly the X-adjacent reveal I've been waiting for, similar to Alpha Flight (which I'm still hoping on an expanded team revisit with Box and Talisman).

I'll take and be happy with either, but I'm so very closely split on which is my preference for two of my three most wanted (Rachel is numero uno) from the set. Green > Gold suit for Meggan, but I wasn't exactly a huge fan of weird-diamond shoulder Brian, even as a kid. Either way, any set would be lit.

I refuse to be hyped for this set until I know I can get one! But man, I cannot wait to see these figures. Particularly Kitty & Rachel for me, those two have hovered around or in my top ten since the mid aughts. Kitty Pryde is one of my all-time favorite Marvel characters, getting her in the Shadowcat costume would be a dream come true.

And y’know, the more I think of it, yeah, I am super excited about Meggan! Hopefully the green outfit.

Oh crap... I didn't know Meggan had a different costume on that 1st issue of Exacalibur... not good. Her green costume is the best IMO, but I have a bad feeling they will go the 1st issue route in the boxset and then release the green outfit later on.

I'd say they should go with the green and black outfit since that is the one she wore for the majority of the series. Though, she did have the orange one during Inferno...

Tell you what. If they make both I'm getting both.

I'm pretty sure it looks like they are going with the green and black for Meggan. You can see her arm in the video tease that they did and it isn't flesh-tone.

They also showed a Lockheed and there isn't a reason to include him without Shadowcat. I'm pretty sure this is going to be a 5-pack. Unless it's a 6-pack and they can force us to buy Sex Pistols Shirt Wolverine.


I got tricked into signing up for Pulse Premium so I could preorder some Classified GI Joes, so I guess I am all ready for the Excalibur set.

But who carried the sword? I don't remember Capt. Britain using a sword. So is it Nightcrawler or K'ylun?

Maybe they're including Betsy's Captain Britain from the newer books. That looks like it could be the sword she carries.

Crap I forgot about the whole Pulse membership thing which I'm not about to pay for. I didn't even bother trying for the Hellfire Club set from last year so I'm not clear on how that works. Do you get first dibs on the exclusive set? Is it only available to Premium members? If so then I'll just do my best for Meggan on eBay. I don't see her going for more than $40 in the initial months.

For the HFC set it was members-only for so many hours before they opened it up to everyone. I don't recall the exact time frame.

As far as I know, only Captain Britain used the actual sword Excalibur very briefly.

With the "research" that the Hasbro team does, they could just be putting in Excalibur (the sword) because the team is Excalibur and they were to lazy to actually look to see if anyone on the team used the sword.

I think you have to be Premium member for exclusives. At the very least you get to order them early and they usually sell out before they are available to the general public.

Last year Pulse Premium members got a 24-hour headstart, which meant we got the whole first printing, and everyone else preordered from the second batch.

Well damn. Aftermarket Meggan it is.

I would like to note again that last year after the initial sell out of the first batch on most exclusives Hasbro followed it up immediately with preorders for a second batch. And in some cases even a third later on.

If it's anything this year like last year, you'll be fine.

Yeah last year's exclusives were pretty easy to get ahold of just as long as you were somewhat prompt.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. I've yet to decide if I'm going to up for Premium right now for the exclusive because it will depend if the other lines have anything I want. I'm not going to do it just for Marvel, so I hope they have something great for GI Joe and Power Rangers lined up.

Hell, I'm still not even sure I care about Excalibur enough.
