IDGAF what anyone says, that Herc is a compelling reason to start a classic Avengers shelf.

Thanks, but you seem to forget that you've contributed a fair amount to that particular miasma. Your own views opposing someone else's doesn't automatically make your delivery more palatable... and that's coming from someone that agrees with a lot of what you have to say.

People would do well to remember how many fingers are aimed at themselves when they decide to point.

I'm already looking at potential WWE Wrestler heads that would make for a good "mean" look Herc as both these heads are ok for light hearted pics but for serious battle pics, fall way short. Hasbro really shoulda done a serious Herc head in place of whatever that alternate head sculpt is supposed to be. Hopefully when they make the classic Herc. And posted this Perez pic of Herc next to cap cuz in figure form, this is how they should scale next to each other.

LOL even the dictionaries don't use that definition anymore but rock on, my guy.

As for comparisons to the GI Joe boards, I don't think this thread is anywhere near that bad yet.

Now you're making me realize the glorious meltdowns we'd probably get if they released Angel in his original Champions outfit.

Drew McEntire could work.

As far as sandals on men, I only wear flip flops in the house, no sandals. Once I step out the door into the real world, I have on sneakers on my off days, or tactical boots on my work days. Last thing I want is to be wearing sandals & SHTF where I have to run for my life from a horde of zombies or rage infected people & my sandals break or come off & now I'm running over glass/debris & let some fat slob zombie catch & eat me cuz I was wearing chanclas.

Damn bro, you’re ready for zombies at all times. I like it.

I depend on contacts and glasses to see, I’m f’ed either way. Flip flops and cargo shorts are my go to clothes this time of year. I’m pretty good walking barefoot as well, Dirt Road Life. I hope my filthy crusty toes give you all pleasure.

Zombies are slow anyways right? There are plenty of fat people out here for them to gorge themselves on while I slip away.

Speaking of zombies, do you think we see Zombie Cap this Friday?

No homophobia from me. I love the gays and they love me… ask any of ‘em! What a great party crowd they are.

Now this stupid aspect you mention—that will be never-ending…

Nice segue. Hasbro's promo emails and FB page refer to "a BIG surprise" on Friday. It's a bit on the nose, but possibly we'll see the next Haslab reveal. It was about this time last year that they kicked off the Sentinel campaign.

Hmmm. It's supposedly FF-themed, so maybe an old school pedal-powered Fantasticar!

Oh, then it's probably that Galactus that already sorta leaked last week. I just like to joke that we're inevitably going to get Big Wheel because it's so ridiculous that if Hasbro ever actually does it I can go "see they made that stupid thing!"

I asked. They have no idea who you are.

hasbroherofan 07-13-2021 03:30 PM

I don't think there's been any clear indication on what the reveal will be on Friday, but the smart money is Fantastic Four or What If? related (unless all the What If figures are just revealed on Marvel.com).

You go flashing your badge around like Columbo and of course they’re gonna clam up!

I finally found Lady Deathstrike at Gamestop... seen everyone except her and white Vision multiple times.

Using Google is pretty accurate where I live... I just type Marvel Legends in the search... hit the "Shopping" tab... then check the "Available Nearby" and "Gamestop" boxes and it shows all the Marvel Legends figures in stock nearby and how far away. I was able to get She-Hulk, Firestar and now Lady Deathstrike before anyone else using the Google Shopping Tab method. Only thing that sucks is there are a bunch of older Marvel figures I really want nearby, but they are all located at a Gamestop on a local Marine base... like I want all those figs so bad, but not enough to join the Marines to get them. LOL. It also sucks because a lot of times the managers at Gamestop hide the more popular figs in the back, so you can't buy them... this happens a lot with Star Wars figures here.

Well as a Gamestop they would likely sell to anyway who shopped there not just military personnel, so you should just inquire if there is a way to go onto the base as a civilian. There's usually a way. Although the easiest way is to have a buddy with a military ID go with you, but a lot of times all you need to do is just go through a checkpoint at the gate (although since Covid this may be more difficult).

TheBlueMarvel 07-13-2021 08:12 PM

^^^If you know which Gamestop the items are at you can usually get them to send them to the store you frequent. It can sometimes take a minute, but this option has been offered to me at many a Gamestop.

Hoping for FF.

Boogieman4hire 07-13-2021 08:58 PM

I'm grateful to get a chance again for Rogue. Now if only they offered that again for Red Hulk.

Thor Laserpunch 07-13-2021 09:29 PM

I have a Red Hulk to part with if you care to hit me up.

Columbo? Oh please, Mannix will slap that old fart silly. :D

Thor Laserpunch 07-13-2021 10:07 PM

That’s hilarious because I almost said Mannix but didn’t because he was only an actual cop in the first season I believe. Plus nobody knows who Mannix is.

I am correct in assuming I am the only one annoyed with the fact that hasbro for seemingly no reason other than greed through mold reuse, made that nova figure and the modular iron man figure, much more of a metallic yellow, that looks more gold, than the comic/cartoon accurate depiction of bright yellow?

For now I'll hold on that. There's a bunch of stuff coming all at once. And if Galactus is happening, that's pretty much going to be my budget for the rest of the year. Thank you though.

You are not the only one. That said, you're quite late to this party. At least one other poster, Trivial Psychic, and myself have been vocal about this for quite some time. Somewhere along the way the process has become affectionately dubbed the "2.0" treatment. Initially, it was relegated to MCU figs with defense-force fans blaming it on tight movie tie-in marketing schedules and the manufacturing team not being privy to final drafts of character looks and the such. However, we are now being graced with a bit of mission creep as 2.0 treatment is bleeding into the canon figs, despite there being no constraining timelines or need to avoid spoilers. Actually, 'mission creep' would indicate that this was somehow running counter to any plan making that an inappropriate description. The more appropriate sentiment would be, "mission accomplished bitch-asses, you been Hasbro-ed, suckas!!!"

Welcome to the club, you get some cool things along the way too if you can suffer through the insults to your intelligence.

Galactus and herald stretch goals, Hasbro. I'm ready.

Archangel 07-14-2021 06:05 AM

Maestro and the Ironman wave have shipped! Now to explain that to my wife, lol.

TheBlueMarvel 07-14-2021 06:17 AM

Lucky dog...I received a ' coming early' alert for my Maestro, but the only ship notice I've received is for an extra Guardsman. :(
