At some point in development, someone in charge needs to look at something like this and just admit that it isn't working and move onto something else.

Shame. This would have been awesome if they hadn't botched the cowl so badly.

This is bad and hot toys should feel bad.

I think someone is releasing this intentionally in order to make a point. Keaton's features are exaggerated deliberately. Compare with the Mezco parody released a few years ago (see here). I don't know about anyone else, but I always thought Keaton was a poor choice for casting because of his peculiar features. And blue or black, his suit always sucked.

Keaton is fine as Batman. Unfortunately, Tim Burton (and most directors that followed) cared more about the villains than he did about the hero, so Batman got very poor character development outside of the usual cliches. It’s because of Keaton’s goofy looks I think he works so well as Batman. No one would look at that Bruce Wayne and think “dedicated 1 man army against crime.”

Good looking figure, but I think trying to do the Henson muppet suit-look was the wrong way to go. Would have preferred a mondo MOTU-style of complete reimagining the tmnt.
