I mean how serious was he? Who knows. But I can't imagine that serious. ML line is a huge toyline right now (provided they can actually get the product to the stores). If the line was struggling like it was back prior to 2014, I could see him considering it but right now, no way. |

I need a Banshee way more than I need a Dwight.

At this point I’m pretty relax about who’s getting a figure next ( thou I really want Excalibur).
I have enough figures to rotate displays, glue, clean, sell, photograph etc. I had a couple of figures I missed, or wasn’t sure at the time, like, I got recently like Lobo-Blastaar, and I will soon try and find an Ice Giant from Thor. But I pretty happy with what I own already. I’m enjoying more finding strange and rare Japanese figures that I like the design off. I did order Galactus, but if I hate it when I get it, I’ll sell it off, or give it away. I guess my focus right now is more on property, and enjoying going out to see friends and family again, and collecting has become less of an obsession. One of the reasons is of course that I got some of my favourite characters like Jocasta, Dazzler, Polaris etc. I certainly don’t get that excited for the latest Spider-man or Wolvie (thou I love them too). And I miss Toyfare too! I kept all the issues. Great fun to see what never happen, and discover hidden gems. |

For me, it has to be the 70s Banshee because it just wouldn't go good on my Phoenix team X-Men shelf. |

It'll be the Apocalypse Twins Banshee
I also miss Toyfare, both the mag and the event |

I got the new Red Skull from Amazon. Dormammu was the one I wanted most from this wave which is why I got him last month but second place was definitely Red Skull and in hand he is simple but pleasing. I always knew I'd go with the head that has lips but I have to admit that in hand I like the toothy portrait a lot more than I thought I would. The Hydra armband paint is cleanly applied on mine, I understand that Hasbro wasn't going to put a swastika on a toy (even if we all know he's a Nazi) but I personally might've just left the armband blank then since this figure is based on a time when Red Skull really didn't care about Hydra. Including a cosmic cube was nice and of course hands that can grasp it allow for fun poses. Reusing one of comic Star-Lord's blasters wasn't a bad call on its own but I don't care for the weapon also having the Hydra logo stamped on even if it is very cleanly applied. I'm honestly surprised Hasbro didn't go with the Luger-like pistol that they used to give out so frequently, it's what I plan on doing for final display. Dr Doom came with what looked like a regular Luger, God-Emperor Doom in the same wave still has it, but I've only got the one Doom and I don't plan on depriving him of his sidearm. |
So with word that Hickman is leaving the X-franchise after this fall's "Inferno", while the whole Krakoa era still continues on without him at the helm, it made me think about what specific looks people are still wanting from HOX/POX onwards. There's a treasure trove but what's really wanted? We might still get the looks in the books, since this isn't a "last chance" type of idea, but rather a revisit.
For me my biggest want is HOX Storm, closely followed by Apocalypse and Captain Britain (Betsy). After that, it's mainly characters that haven't had a figure yet at all like Kid Omega (Quinten Quire) and Monet. Also with this breaking news came the news today about Daredevil's end of run, which they claim is the last Daredevil story....though I doubt that will stick for more than a handful of years at most. Daredevil may not be a tentpole corner of Marvel like Spider-Man, Avengers and X-Men, but he's still extremely high profile. |
I picked up a cheap Mockingbird recently so I did a pants swap.

For anyone with the Mark III Iron Man: how easy would it be to pull him apart? I'm still waiting on mine but already know I'm going to hate the paint (more than the baffling accessories) and want to cover the entire thing with something more accurate
Will the pinless joints pose a problem? |

I just finished the Marvel Legends team interviews on Dan Who and Shartimus Prime. I loved how in the Dan Who interview that he mentioned the Legendary Riders wave and that he'd like to see the other original members of the Sinister Six get the Retro Spider-Man treatment. I also liked how Ryan brought up that Spider-Man's 60th anniversary is next year. Shartimus also mentioned Dan Yun's Toy Biz Doc Ock displayed behind him and asked if an animated Doc Ock might be in the works, but Dan said some display items are because it's just for shelf decoration, that the Toy Biz animated Ock is one of his favorite figures and any figures displayed for the interviews could also just be red herrings. Shartimus did ask about bendable wire tentacles, to which Ryan mentioned "sounds expensive" and Shartimus mentioned they could do it for a Deluxe release. Shartimus also did bring up a possible FantastiCar for HasLab, but Dwight mentioned it was too early to talk about new HasLab plans.
