I was also puzzled at first and then I realized many toy stores will actually be helpful and locate something for you. I sure never did that as a kid!

mindmeldx 09-06-2012 12:56 PM

Well its official. An employee that I've dealt with in the past (also a collector) at my Walmart confirmed that they are no longer going to carry Marvel Legends or Marvel Universe. Apparently they didn't sell well enough. But Toy Story, Spiderman, and Avengers are doing great. ....even though they're always fully stocked and never move. hmmmmmm. whatevs....

Greenskar 09-06-2012 01:00 PM

well I haven't opened my Miles Morales yet...but this youtube review made me appreciate him a bit more if for now other reason than I didn't realize they put his hand in his "venom blast" pose (which is Miles' unique power that paralyzes people and causes electronics to malfunction and explode).

The Amazing Spiderman: Ultimate Comics Spider-Man (Miles Morales) Figure REVIEW - YouTube

He is also shorter than other Spidey's so that's a plus. Still too big for a 13 yr old, lol but hey, what can you do.

Optimus Vader 09-06-2012 01:24 PM

So the Miles figure isn't the BT/FF Spidey buck? At a glance that's what I thought they used.

jaybird7072 09-06-2012 01:29 PM

Looks just like it.. just smaller.. i think and minus some artic. But overall its a pretty badass spidey

Greenskar 09-06-2012 01:30 PM

It certainly has the same shoulder hinge and every other element of articulation. The hands and head are the only differences I can see. Symbiote still has my figure in his car so I haven't had a chance to really compare to the BT/FF spidey yet. I doubt Miles is smaller than that one.

Optimus Vader 09-06-2012 01:45 PM

That's what I thought it was (RoML Spidey buck)--so articulation is definitely all there, that's for sure. I'll pick him up if I see him... so far I'm ofer three though.

The DMC 09-06-2012 03:01 PM

Big thanks to my home skillet FANCYPANTS fot the hook up!!

DogFashionDisco 09-06-2012 03:42 PM

I think I might pick up that Miles Spidey if I see one, it looks like a really solid figure. He is a little butch for a kid though.

2 of the best IronMan villian figures made, IMO. I have both and are both awesome.

Tiberius 09-06-2012 04:26 PM

Agreed!! Crimson Dynamo stands out to me out of the two though. If Tit Man was bigger...then no brainer for me.

TheDub 09-06-2012 04:56 PM

I wish that was the crimson dynamo version we got in the iron man 2 line. looks a lot better.

Greenskar 09-06-2012 05:04 PM

Alright, here we go. Miles is definitely a different buck than BT/FF Spidey and he is definitely shorter. He doesn't have the point of articulation on the neck to look up and down with, sadly its just a static ball joint. While he's still buffer than I will ever be and he's only 13 (which is impressive for him sad for me) he is a great figure! Glad I picked this up! Grab him on sight if you are lucky enough to find him.

Minor gripe...his neck looks ridiculous from the side profile like the very first wave of MU figures. I hate that giraffe neck BS, lol.

I couldn't justify buying Drax and Klaw because I'm just not a huge fan, but I can't pass up $11! If you find 2 MOC, can you grab them for me?

I'm not sure I've seen such a piece of shit in my lifetime. I wasn't impressed by pictures I've seen, but it's even worse in person. Now that I've seen it there is no doubt that if you want an Amazing Spidey movie fig that the MS version is definitely the way to go. Scale is a little off, but what good is having a piece of shit in scale?

I love the Disney Exclusive ASM MS figure. Can't beat $22 when they're selling on eBay for more. Seriously, lazy people need to get off their asses and go to any fucking Disney store to buy them instead of falsely inflating the price through eBay. Aside from that, I still want the ASM Miles 6"... just that one though. They can keep the stupid Lizard and his little reptiles.

lol ppl throw my credibility out the window when i say i enjoyed spiderman 3 and didnt mind this movie's take on venom with topher grace. LOL

I liked that movie too. I mean, c'mon! It's Spidey! Yeah, they screwed up some details, but what movie based on a comic does not change the details? Seriously!

I've got 8 more of these things on the way, guys! How much is BBTS charging? $23.99 + shipping? If you wanted one loose, it would cost $19.79 shipped from me. Just throwing that out there. I don't have them yet, but they are coming. A few are spoken for already...

Don't bother calling Target, though. When they punch in that SKU, it brings up ML in general. All ML SKUs translate into one SKU in their system.

BOOO WALMART! The Walmart that I frequent will still be carrying them... well, they have the pegs for them now at least. So, I assume they will continue to get them. I've been to 3 other Walmarts and they didn't have any MU or ML pegs. What is wrong with Walmart's marketing plans? Don't then know that Marvel sells better than their stupid $6 non-articulated DKR figs? Get a fucking clue, Walmart. Damn.

Tit man... lol - I have a spare War Machine from that line if anyone needs him.

All the disney stores around my area closed down. there is only one left, and it doesn't have much.
