Gamestop is doing Marvel cards? How do you get them?
|
^^Well, they come with certain Marvel Legends orders from Gamestop. I received two packs that came with my Kro figs. They're still sitting on the table on my deck (that's where I unbox, so that I can immediately put refuse in the recycle) where I left them on Thursday... lol I haven't even looked at them.
Edit: @Starlord Very nice, man! Good luck! |
@TheBlueMarvel...

As for AOA Kitty and Rogue, the X-ladies are my ride or die so I'll happily pick-up any costumes Hasbro pumps out. |

Also, I got my Spider-Man 2099 last week in the mail from Entertainment Earth and he turned out really nice. All of my Marvel Legends orders from there have been arriving early and with no damage to the boxes at all, like they just came out of a factory. After all the delays that Amazon's been having with figures being pushed back months at a time, I think I may stick with using E.E. for my figures for a while. |
^ I was watching some reviews for the retro 2099 Spidey fig and I think I like the colors on the original version better.

So does anyone know if the 80s Herc is actually in stock in the US & shipping or is it still a Dec release?
|
Took a bit of work, but I eventually got Thena from Target. Photos don't do this figure enough justice. She's a spectacularly stunning figure with a near flawless in-hand likeness.

^ I wonder if MCU Angelina will be more popular than Katy was... I remember Katy was hard to find for like one week... then it was like Tulip fever... suddenly nobody was buying her anymore and she was eventually clearanced for 6 bucks I think.

Looking at that list of characters in the cards...Whiplash! Yes please!

20th Cap revealed. LOoks great.
|
As a huge Cap fan...and it hurts to say this, but...woof. I really want to like it...but outside the new effects pieces, what a let down. No pinless? No butterfly joints? Another clip on shield guaranteed to break after three or four uses? No American Flag accessory? Definitely not a regulation military haircut on the unmasked head, and as blasphemous as this is gonna sound to a lot of you, the original Toybiz figure shits all over this in aesthetic, gorilla limbs and all. I appreciate what Hasbro is trying to do here, but I feel they missed the mark entirely.
Good for those who missed on the 80th, but I'm still waiting for Hasbro to put out that one penultimate figure of Cap. This one just feels way too close to one's previously put out. |
Every figure has it's flaws. I'm calling that Cap a must have.

I've had no issue with the clip on the shield breaking. What are you people doing to break your shield clips? The hair on the unmasked head looks like Steve from the comics. Why would I want him to have some military buzz cut? I'm not sure what to tell you, but this looks like the greatest Cap figure ever made to me. He's a perfect representation of the silver age comics I have been reading sans the Jack Kirby square chin. |
