Why the big deal about the cloth cape when the single version has one too?

Autobot_Goldbug 01-10-2020 08:47 PM

I am not thrilled with that new Darkseid costume design
I like the Injustice design better

snake5289 01-10-2020 10:29 PM

I can't wait for the Hiya Darkseid.

Il Cattivo 01-11-2020 03:32 AM

holy shit he's actually taller than supes! didn't think spinmasters could do it.

Found them at Target tonight. Went to check out and they took them out of my hand and refused to sell them to me. I get it, and that's fine. Then then tried to tell me it was illegal to sell them, that they could be arrested and that I was lying when I said multiple people had already purchased them at Target.
Fir what it's worth the street date is 1/19.

Il Cattivo 01-11-2020 04:25 PM

1/19? I can't wait that long. they better sell them to me if I see them or someone's daughter is getting insulted.

Super Joe 01-12-2020 07:01 AM

To help this sell, what is y'alls 'Top 10 List' of future waves?
(unproduced figures or figures in bad need of an update)

https://media.comicbook.com/2019/08/...53-1280x0.jpeg

1. Jarro. Similar to how Baby Yoda helps sell toys. A mystery accessory, with super rare variants (like Jarro in Robin suit) can be a great sell to kids.
2. 'Crisis' characters from CW tv serves as free adverts for the toys. An new bearded Flash + old updated Garrick Flash would be cool.
3. Young Justice. Any character never made into a toy.
4. Outsiders (new YJ cartoon or classic Batman comic). Any character never-before-made into a figure (like the new Roundhouse and classic Halo).
5. 5th Dimension Justice League.
6. Godspeed when new Flash movie comes out.
7. Mary Batson needs an update before or after the Shazam sequel.
8. Wonder Twins, Gleek for nostalgic Saturday Morning toon 80s kids. For the new kids of old 80s kids, a tiny 'kid" Gleek can be yet another year's mystery accessory.
9. Dassod, Golden Pharoah, etc. for classic Super Powers collectors.
10. Orion in time for New Gods movie.

Il Cattivo 01-12-2020 07:43 AM

dceu. we deserve a better batfleck and cavil supes.

watchmen

Captain Morgan 01-12-2020 07:43 AM

I wonder how these Spin Masters look next to other figures from the Infinite Heroes and Multiverse lines. Anyone seen any pics?

Interesting, I was thinking they'd be a tad taller.

I'd also be down for some DCEU figures.

While the height of these new SpinMasters 3.75 inch DC line may not be to everyone's liking, I am happy to see the franchise return to this scale along with Hiya Toys.

It's much more convenient with collecting for both budget and space not to mention ideal for vehicles and playsets which SpinMasters have already opened their series with.

From a kid's perspective, they look very fun to play with.

Great "Top 10 List" there. All else likewise seem to agree that movie figures are a must. I like the suggestion of making all the "Super" characters. That can give the toy company more kid friendly 'Mystery Accessories" like a small Krypto pup and such.

I noticed on top of the $5.99 shipping, now there's also a additional "shipping tax" now being charged.
