No need to hate player. You do you. And thanks, I do love my bootleg 3D printed classic DOFP Sentinels very much! |
Where did you get those bootleg Sentinels?

But your comment about the pins got me very curious to try something. An hour later I got this: https://media.discordapp.net/attachm...623&height=831 Lower BW legs. The difference in color isn't nearly as noticeable in person. What is noticeable in person is that the lower legs are now very floppy...rendering her nearly impossible to stand up. I guess I'll try the Dagger legs, or look for ways to tighten these joints now. |

I got my two Sandman figures today from Entertainment Earth. They look great! I can't wait to open one up and display it!
I'm curious to see what Hasbro will reveal next week for Marvel Legends at Pulse Con. I hope we'll at least get the pre-order link for the new Captain America figure. |

Feels so weird since I am usually way behind everyone else, but I am ready to move on to the next batch of Legends already, got my Tigra, cherry picked the ones I wanted from What if, No Way Home and AoA2... and have no interest in the Retro F4 wave. Only Nova elludes me still. Bring on Pulse con!

I really want that retro Captain America pre-order. It's reveal is what sparked me collecting Legends again.

It depends on the Type of Sentinel as you well know that a large variety of Sentinels have been made over the 55yrs or so since they 1st made their debut in the X-Men. Those MK Is were barley 10ft tall if that. I have always been partial to the Byrne DOFP Sentinels that were 20 footers & these are the ones that the guy in Mexico did 3D prints of. These are also the versions that were used in the 90s X-Men animated series. Some Sentinels are man sized, some ant sized and some the size of a small skyscraper. The ones pictured below are the MKIV 20 footers that the 3D Sentinels are based on. The Haslab version is just way too big & a space clogger for those of us that don't have spacious room like some of you that ordered 2 or more do plus I got 6 3D printed Sentinels for a bit over the price of 1 Haslab Sentinel. |

@Nimrod: I like the 3d printed Sentinels quite a lot, and I was also quite happy with the MU repaint used for the DOFP set I had before securing 2 Haslabs of my own, but I wouldn't call he Haslab out of scale by any stretch.
Have a look at the first Sentinel depicted in the first episode of the old animated series. The foot is shown as being nealy the size of a car (though to be fair, by that logic, a dog is apparently nearly the size of a car as well ;): https://youtu.be/tEFlrd4buE4?t=118 |
I started reading Amazing Spider-Man Volume 5 and just made it through the original clone saga. I'm actually amazed because the way the 90s Clone Saga made it song, this was some huge event back then, but it was actually pretty low key. Maybe it's because I already knew Gwen was a clone, but I didn't think it was mind blowing. I was also surprised when I learned the Spider-man clone only showed up for like half an issue and that was it and that Jackal was killed so easily. While I enjoyed this whole arc, I'm not sure how I feel about it in the long run since it really didn't do anything special. I still think a bunch of the other story arcs from earlier were way more impressive. I have to say though Ross Andru's artwork has been nothing short of stellar. The fight between Spidey and Tarantula in the dark with Spidey's belt emblem being the only source of light was phenomenal. I want to see a fight scene like that in the comics.

Pulsecon schedule up. Marvel is from 2pm to 4pm ET on Saturday the 23rd, so two solid hours of Marvel reveals and related stuff including some special guests.

All I want to see is Banshee. |
Yay for Saturday. That means I won't need to take a half day Friday to watch it.
I hope we see Banshee as well but more than likely, if the leak/rumor is true, it'll be Siryn instead. Which isn't a bad we'd be getting her, but she's nowhere near heavily requested. |

Decided against picking up the Amazon Wolverine set, but I couldn't pass up on these two.

^ I like the little Butterfly Knife and Switchblade that she comes with.

It appears we'll be seeing some "X-Men: The Animated Series" reveals for Marvel Legends next week. Eric and Julia Lewald, who worked on the show, will be appearing on the Marvel panel, as well as David Nakayama, who did the artwork for the Target exclusive Retro Rogue and Retro Gambit figures last year. I'm hopeful we'll see some new, preferably non cel-shaded, Retro X-Men figures next year, as I'd love to finally find and buy characters like Beast, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Jubilee, Magneto and Mystique. And of course, Morph is a must among most X-Men T.A.S. fans.
Also, over on The Fwoosh, it seems like we're getting a new classic Toad figure, though it's unclear if it's for the Marvel Legends 20th anniversary wave or a different one. What do you guys think of the possible news? |
^ I admit... the thought of rebuying all the 90's X-men Legends again in animated form/colors scares me to death. I happily thought I was on my way out... now this. I mean I really like the look of the What If figures, so animated version sculpts does intrigue me.

Haven’t they basically already done that, though? The Love Triangle three-pack was Animated Series rereleases of Cyclops and Wolverine (with bone claws as a bonus), packed with a Jean Grey that included comic book and Animated Series heads, and then they did Animated Series rereleases of Gambit and Rogue for Target. To date, 90s Storm has only seen release in her Animated Series colours and in imaginary colours meant seemingly to reverse emulate the 90s Toy Biz X-Men line’s lazy repaint of Outback Storm as a stand-in for the Lee outfit. The Animated Series team is done once they get around to a smiling Beast rerelease, a Jubilee rerelease (arguably not even necessary), and Morph. Meanwhile, the poor 90s Gold team from the comics still needs its Storm and Colossus.
