Donny Cate's run on Venom is legendary. You should check it out. The figure will have more context. The Cates/Stegman Venom run is easily one of the best thing to happen to Marvel in the last 25 years. Not to mention he's one of the hottest writers going right now. The interview was probably well received by his fans.

I can't wait for Knull. Hell, I want an entire Cates Wave. Especially Stegman Venom (Deluxe with detachable wings), Sleeper, Herald of Galactus Thor and God of Magic Dr. Strange. New Beta Ray Bill with Twilight would be incredible as well.

I LOVE that run of Venom. Cates is great and a real nice guy too, if you have ever met him. I would love to see some more of his creations brought to plastic life.

X-Men: TAS Mr. Sinister

Not a figure I need, but dang, that is a nice looking Iron Spider.

Edit: man these cell-shaded figures are stylized. Really not digging Mister Sinister.

I'm not a Venom fan. He's okay as a Spider-Man villain, but beyond that, never been in love with him that much.

They're trying to tempt me with that Sinister. He's always been my favorite out of the "top tier X-villains".

He definitely looks like he's from the cartoon so they did well by that.

Found 80s retro Herc at my local CBS that I used to buy comics from back when I collected. They had about 12 Hercs on a table! Figure is perfect in both muscular build & hgt! Only Thor is slightly taller than him as he should be as Thor is 6'6 & Herc is 6'5. Looks great with all his fellow Avengers.

I was kind of on the fence in regards to the animated line due to the shading, but it didn't look bad on Wolverine and Jubilee. Sinister, on the other hand, looks dreadful.

@Comedian, great MCU display! I dig the movie scene recreation poses you have going on like your Infinity War Scarlet Witch and Vision. I also like how they are sectioned by movie.

I thought the cell-shading on Venom and Wolverine were fine enough, very stylized. The Jubilee render actually looks kinda toned down to me cell shading wise comparatively.
Mr. Sinister looks like the opposite haha. Lots of cell shading. I am definitely passing on this one. Still waiting for a dandy suited Mr.Sinister from Kerion Gillian's Uncanny X-men. So far this X-men sub line isn't catching my eye. I would probably still get a Morph if they end up making him.

Anyone else think we'll see one more use of the shredded clothes She-Hulk, for red She-Hulk, before we start seeing a retool of the mold for other muscled female characters?

Hopefully the early November estimate bodes well for those still waiting.
