I used to live less than 5 minutes from the store on 71st and Binford. I do not know for sure if they carry any Legends but as one of the signature series stores they usually had stuff other Krogers did not.

Has there been any update about the walgreens exclusive Daredevil figure as of lately? im curious to know what version it'll be.

ChuckSass 05-18-2015 12:21 PM

ugh it sucks that Thundra and Valkyrie aren't on that Red-She Hulk buck. it was really good. sucks we never got Lyra either but that girl would have been keeping those pegs toasty

Not sure if it's even an exclusive or not. Or if it's a figure or an entire wave. Probably have to wait until SDCC to know.

Oh, are they not? I just assumed they were the same because they looked similar. How are they different?

Your telling me. It's killing me waiting to find out what the exclusive will be. I thought someone mentioned we start seeing some pics/info in mid-may possibly.

Spyne98 05-19-2015 08:40 AM

Some companies have started showing what they will have available at SDCC. If I recall, Hasbro didn't show anything until after BotCon last year. I feel like Hasbro is one of the last to show their exclusives. The summer is such a rough time for these things for me. I don't make as much money in the summer, so I really have to stretch each pay check.

Hasbro, can we get a 'Hound' version of my favorite Phoenix? Please? Easily tooled on the Spider Girl buck...I can't imagine that this would be hard at all...too bad I don't make customs ;)

Phantomcrow 05-19-2015 08:38 PM

Where do you get the colored flames in black and yellow??? I found them once on ebay but can't find them again. All I ever see are the red and blue ones from figuarts.

Fantastic! It's always nice to see some Rachel appreciation, especially when accompanied by the Tamashii fire. Funny you should mention her Hound look, as I'm saving an Ultimate Spider-Woman body for that very reason.

Still, I'll be forever waiting for her modern costume...

Valkyrie is legit an upscaled version of the MI one.

I ordered one set of black and two sets of yellow (the yellow works wonderfully in conjunction with the red) all from eBay. They are Chinese bootlegs that run about half the cost (for now) of the Tamashii flames. I constantly search eBay for bits and bobs and in my searches I've also found purple versions (still on the fence with these; little use outside of Psylocke or possibly some arcane arts users...4H figs or maybe Dormammu - if he is released).

Sounds like a solid plan. Short-hair mullet or ponytail? ;) my preference is for the ponytail, but the 80's mullet is so iconic...

I'm hoping nothing too expensive...or a lot. Which year do you think had the best stuff to get?

Which year was the best? My personal favorite was the X-Force pack. I'm a huge X-Force fan so that's my favorite. I also loved last years exclusive. The the Thunderbolts set was pretty awesome. But X-Force is hands down my favorite.

TheBlueMarvel 05-20-2015 01:53 PM

The 2007 She Hulk SDCC exclusive was my favorite. It felt like a true exclusive being that it boasted a special costume, had multiple accessories, and represented a unique sculpt (not to be repurposed or repackaged).

While many of these recent exclusives have been very nice, most of the figs end up getting repackaged, or recycled for other characters, which dilutes the impact of the whole set (at least it does for me). This is going to sound strange, but of the more recent SDCC exclusive 'packs', my favorite fig was Ghost.

i never went to one personally... from what found out i would say last year had some really awesome stuff to buy. from the big foam infinity gaunlet, which i still want one, to the Ahab predator from neca, to the special editon Jax teller from sons of anarchy from Mezco.

I should have meant Hasbro Marvel stuff only...I think the Archangel X-Force box set is my favorite in terms of items.

the only thing i know of that they released from last year would have been the infinity gauntlet big rubber glove with the 4-5 marvel universe figures.

She-Hulk is my all time fave figure. That said, I can't express how cool it was to have a Satana.

TheBlueMarvel 05-20-2015 08:59 PM

@ChuckSass

I like Satana also (and would like it greatly if Hasbro would deliver her brother Daimon - more excuses to use flame effects)...but wait, I thought you'd grown tired of "street-walkers"? ;)

Both Gamora and Satana are characters I loved since I was really young. My Dad had a bunch of old Vampire/Stange Tales, so I instantly fell in love with those two, so regardless of how trampy they were dressed. I did think the Legends Satana wasn't even that skimpy.

I would agree Damian would be awesome, along with Jennifer Kale and a new Howard.
