Just got an email from Hasbro Pulse saying their exclusive Human Torch will be shipping soon.
|
Interested to see when Hasbro reveals the inevitable second block of figures for this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYzbalQ6Lg8 |
I'll take more but I definitely want a new Green Goblin.
|
Really hope they reveal figures of the NWH villains in the next live stream. Count me in for wanting a new Green Goblin. Also, I didn’t catch it the first couple of times I watched the trailer but they’re putting a Captain America shield on the Statue of Liberty.
For anyone in the Middle TN area, Dorksidetoys is opening a physical store in Murfreesboro. It’s located in The Avenue shopping mall. According to their social media, they had a soft opening this past Sunday but they’re going to be closed for the next week to finish work on the store. You can follow the store @DorksideBoro on the socials for the official opening date. |
That's like the worst trailer ever... guess that can't show too much though.

Pulse just emailed me saying that the Excalibur set is shipping on December 1st!

If anyone doesn't want CB, plz PM me. Have never cared for Kitty or Meggan as characters so can't justify buying the 3 pack.

I don't understand why everyone thinks the 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' trailer was terrible. I thought it was pretty good. I loved all of the new scenes with Alfred Molina back as Doc Ock, like adding the red to his tentacles by stealing it off of Spider-Man's armored suit, and I'm thrilled to see Jamie Foxx's Electro in a green-and-yellow outfit. I'm in the vast minority that wanted him in the classic costume and mask, but at least the look of the mask appears via electricity in the trailer. Also, I'm glad that Electro isn't blue this time around, as I hate whenever they make Electro into an actual electrical being instead of a guy in a costume with electrical powers. I'm disappointed that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield weren't shown, but I can understand why. Also, I'm surprised that everyone on message boards and websites are so upset by their absence, considering these are pretty much the same fans who complained that we saw too much in the trailers for previous Spider-Man films, such as seeing the final moments of Spider-Man versus Rhino in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' trailer. I also read in a Spidey comic review on the Spider-Man Crawlspace website that Peter and his friends laughing at the name "Otto Octavius" and taking the name "Happy Hogan" seriously was well done. I don't get why they laughed at his name in the trailer, either, since Peter's rival is "Flash" Thompson and nobody makes jokes about that.
As far as Marvel Legends 'Far From Home' figures go, whenever we do get more figures based on the film, I'd easily buy Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro and a human form Sandman, and, of course, Tobey's Spider-Man. I need a better view of Lizard before I decide on that though, as I was never a fan of the Andrew Garfield films. That said, I'm actually more excited to see what Hasbro has planned with their "Marvel Legends: Retro Spider-Man" wave and the upcoming Spider-Man 60th anniversary figures, as I prefer the comics versions of the characters from the '60s to the '90s. I wonder when Hasbro will show us more "Marvel Legends" figures and/or do another live-stream. I forgot, Is there one planned for November yet? |
Walked into Wal-Mart today and found the FF Retro wave. Picked up High E and Psycho Man. Sue looked horrible in person. Just not an attractive figure. Thing looks awesome! Torch is FANTASTIC (lol)

Marvel Zombies
So, since there is going to be a Marvel Zombies series, does this mean we are going to see more Zombie figures? Cap isn't enough... NEVER ENOUGH!

2099
Looking for 2099 wave for Marvel Legends, I am tired of not having a Ghost Rider 2099. Hulk would be a nice BAF and who doesn't want a President Dr Doom? You have a lot of great characters. Please, if Hasbro sees this, what's up?

I got HoX Wolverine, Legion, DX Thanos, AoA Rogue (who wasn't on sale but eh) and some LC figures for $130 from the Dorkside sale. I saved like $40 total.
|
I took some pictures of my figure room today since I've gotten it mostly cleaned up.

lol funny Tom Holland headlines...says he's not in it for the long hall with Spider Man and if he's playing the character post 30, he's done something wrong career-wise. Smart man, good on him. After seeing him in Devil All the Time, I want to see him in other roles not Parker. And I don't mean Uncharted, but I'll indulge occasional peccadillos provided his body of work includes a fair amount of stretch roles.
Toys: my 5th Sentinel arrived safely today after being returned to the Chino, CA warehouse. That was a thing. Bring on the Galacti! And Binary is on the way from Hong Kong. HIIIIP |
^ That's what they all say though... then they end up like Garfield and Tobey and pray that you get a big check for coming back to an old role someday. I mean look at Harrison Ford... hated playing Han in Return of the Jedi and wanted to kill him off an move on... then he became one of the biggest Hollywood stars ever... then on his way down he had no problem reprising his role for 12 million... and look what he has done lately... Star Wars, Blade Runner and Indy... all old roles. I did like Devil All the Time though.

True: no lies detected there.
Breaking News - people that make obscene amounts of money like to continue to do so, especially as their options dry up. However, personally, I hope Tom's hints at acting range can be parlayed into a robust acting career that allows him to move away from Spider Man. RDJ tried to escape the whirlpool's vortex down the drain, but Marvel Studios matched his ridiculous request and he couldn't walk away. But what I've seen since that moment is a dude whose heart just doesn't seem to be in it. Might've been better for him had he walked when he could've. |

@dr Kain:
Great pics! It?s so interesting to see how other people display. You got them all in action, where I go for the Comic Cover splash or vanilla. I do have my de told in a row too thou. So, I?m still loving my Hellfire Club set, and keep adding customs to it. I?m not the greatest customiser, nor I have much spared time, but since I had the parts, I did Lady Mastermind and Sebastian?s old flame, Lourdes Chantel. (More pics on my insta @eclecticaction) I?m off to London Film and c?mic con tonight to look for rare items and meet Veronica Cartwright, Emily Kinney and Tom Skerritt. Very excited. |
