Haha yup sucks doesn't:P Although I'm only ordering just cause I may be in scalper central with this wave comes out, if I knew for sure I would be where I'm at out now, than no worries...

Really Target not carrying ML, didn't know that, how come?

I honestly don't even know if it's the truth, just what it seems to be. I remember asking an employee at a Target while I was hunting for the legends if they had anymore, and they specifically told me that they wouldn't be carrying it anymore. At the time, I thought it was just because there was going to be a hiatus until Wave 3, now I'm more worried about it.

Behindthemask just posted in the "look what I just got" thread that he found ML at Target.

Its not 2005 where Nightcrawler w/ a Galactus part and superior paint only cost 8.55 after taxes. I like the series, I just dont think it should be in retail. should be online.

That doesn't take into account that the last 6" Spiderman line prior to Amazing Spiderman's 6" series had mostly figures that were sub par at best. The best ones were repaints of Toy Biz molds. 6" can work but Hasbro's worst practice aside from subpar molds was bad casepacks, that's what killed the Iron Man lines. Not enough variety. It's to be expected that we'll see many of Tony's armors but mere repaints of those in lieu of more villains and supporting characters= a boring toylne.

Oh for gods sake. The last Marvel Legends line was FOUR YEARS AGO. I know this is a difficult concept for some people to get, but they are not making the line just for 30 year old obsessive fans on internet forums like us. You cannot under any reasonable circumstances, look at a relaunch after 4 years and bitch that maybe, just maybe, they want new fans to be able to get a few popular characters. You know, those things called kids that tend to be born every day and grow into teenagers and adults like us?

Actually the target audience for Legends and MU is us but Hasbro does try to balance out collector's appeal with mass appeal. Legends appears to be now, as highly influenced by more recent Marvel books with some throwbacks to classic lore and new versions of iconic characters. Meanwhile there's enough space to have one of the core Marvel characters in each wave so long as it doesn't overlap a previous and well received Toy Biz version.

Maria Hill was already in a TRU 2 pack though.

Technically we already got Iron Spider more than once..

I'm surprised Hasbro let alone Toy Biz never made a fully articulated figure of that design.

I bet they switched out regular Archangel w/X-force Deadpool so that people would be more likely to team build with the SDCC exclusives. It makes sense but I don't have to like it lol.

I am however happy to finally be getting that Neo-classic Iron Man. I was hoping that would see release in the Legends line eventually.

There is still hope that Archangel will be in regular colors as a single carded figure. At Toy Fair Hasbro stated they were trying to figure out a way to release him. I figure he will come in a later wave just without a BAF part, like Thor in wave 1.

Doubt it, there are still pegs for ML up.

I saw a rumor that they were originally planning one for the cancelled Spider-man classics/trilogy whatever the line was call that was just clearanced recently from stores so I'm hoping like the Neo Classic Armor it shows up for the comic series movie figures

If that rumor was true then it probably will show up in the comic series.

Is there any news if ML wave 3 will have a BAF?

trebleshot 06-28-2012 07:41 AM

Apparrently it doesn't matter what colors they use on that Crossovers Thor toy. It still looks goofier than shit in alt mode. I do hope that they re-release the Hulk Bulldozer mold since that was the only one I didn't pick up during the original Marvel Crossovers run.

I might go for XF Deadpool, but only if I see him at retail and only if I have the cash on-hand. Everything else is a pass. I'm trying very hard to keep my buying habits focused on just TFs for the foreseeable future.

Yup, there is one. Hasn't been announced what it/who it is yet.

Peteparker 06-28-2012 09:55 AM

Not all Targets rescinded the ML invitation. Just found the Wave 2 rev case at one this morning.
