As far as the movies go, it seems they are taking elements from both. Also Fury is, at least to most movie goers less known then the rest of the Avengers. And considering the rest of the team is white, I can see why going with Jakson's Fury would be advantageous. |
Yeah, the Sam Jackson Nick Fury is from the Ultimates Universe, while the other is from the main Marvel Universe (616). They basically play the same role within their respective universes.
So the Marvel Movies aren't doing it without some basis in the comics (unlike, say, Daredevil). Most comic fans assume that the movies are based on a mix of both universes (though I think there's more of an Ultimates influence than 616, personally). |
Lots of changes over there to assumed new one come on the top during well attempted movies in hollywood cinema.Spider man and batman shown the superb talent in the movies and they have change racing criteria.Kids loves to watch there realy super comic hero on big screen.

That said, Im all down for race changes—providing its somebody whos available for a race change. Elektra is Greek, Moonstar is Native American, Wolverine is Canadian, etc. That said, when we get to characters like Fury, Alicia Masters, Kingpin or even Maria Hill why not have some fun? The world is changing why not be a little more adventurous than characters were in the 70s? That said if we made Misty Knight or Psylocke were made white bitches would go crazy. On my tumblr, I said why not cast Jensen Ackles as Shatterstar and Jared Padalecki as Rictor—thus meaning they could gay it up on screen as a joke. I had people hate mailing me because Rictor is supposed to be hispanic—which is fine and all but I personally don't think he's even dawn that way, but thats a whole other ball game. But thats also like January Jones as Emma Frost, when you take away her ethnic origin thats almost like changing her race and this character almost becomes a whole other character |

I'm confused by that statement as well. Both Emma and January are Caucasian females born and raised in the US. How is there a difference in their ethnicity or nationality?
Oh, and by the way, Canadian is not an ethnic group - it's a nationality. |
